Just peeking quickly at wikipedia, there are a number of states where one can marry at age 14 with parental permission (since minors can’t legally enter contract). So I suppose the MSM is stating that this is wrong, too? I’m sure there’s going to be a rush to change these laws any second now.

I myself see much of what’s wrong with our society, along with the whole snowflake thing, as delayed adolescence. Part of that is a parasitic attempt to commoditize education; part of it is to reduce the power of the young; part of it is to keep people out of the overcrowded labor force for as long as possible.
From my read, Milo was definitely taken at least partially out of context, and had a fairly defensible position. I’m very surprised that he resigned from Breitbart, and not at all surprised that Simon & Schuster (sp?) cut him loose.
I’m a little confused as to the condemnation here. While I myself have zero desire for a child bride, as I find “adult” women stupid and juvenile enough, I’m not sure why anyone would be particularly bothered by this, particularly on this web site. No, rational men don’t usually want to date teenagers, because teenagers are idiots. But lots of countries on the planet have zero problems with this, Western civilization had zero problems with this until fantastically recently, and every single major religion have no – and I mean NO – prohibition against marrying anyone who’s reached menarche.
The left is using pedophilia to attack Milo, the same way that feminists use any number of similar bulls~~~ weapons – domestic violence charges, false rape accusations, alimony indentures, etc. – to attack men. Milo slept with older men while he was a teen, and doesn’t think that’s a big deal. Lots of girls in my high school slept with boys in their early to late teens. I didn’t have a problem with that then, and don’t particularly have a problem with it now. Some were dating college students, so I suppose statutory rape was going on. Zero s~~~s given.
Every high school in the US – and I mean every is constantly aware of technical statutory rapes continually going on, all the time. This often happens in particular when girls at age 17 are dating men of age 19. Larger spreads also occur.
No, I’m defending Milo completely on this, and trashing the 21st century creepy focus on “pedophilia” from people who’ve never read a history book. Marriage ages are generally raised when there are lots and lots of unmarried older women who don’t want competition. That’s what’s been happening in the States for the past thirty or forty years.

Even if one completely disagreed with Milo (and I don’t) – one, single comment ruins a man’s career?
No, f~~~ the West. Muslims around the world are laughing at the West’s defenders of Islam scourging someone based on their acceptance of Muslim (and Jewish, and Earth’s) normal ages of consent.
