To me, MGTOW is a philosophy rather than a movement. Its strength comes from the fact that you can’t crush a philosophy. I’m in agreement with at least 95% of the stuff posted here (and the beauty of going our own way is that we don’t have to agree on everything like the hive mentality), I have a couple of thoughts, although you guys probably won’t agree with ’em. First, while I sure enjoy the posts (many amusing, others serious, and many just interesting), in my personal life, I find it more useful to focus on my own shortcomings. There’s a saying: Anytime that I’m upset, no matter what the cause, there’s something wrong with me. Secondly, I don’t necessarily believe in AWALT. It’s just that the game has become so stacked that the odds of finding a unicorn that it’s like expecting to buy a winning lottery ticket. It ain’t worth the cost. Okay, go ahead and fire away…

Yep, if you are in control of your emotions, you can take most anything that’s thrown at you.

The unicorn lottery ain’t worth playing, but it doesn’t stop me from having some fun with a woman every now and then. I will never marry one or live with one, or spend too much time with one, but if you do it right and you’re careful, you can have a little fun with some women. I do anyway.

Your post is at the core of MGTOW.

It’s about focusing on you and not waste your life away “chasing the dragon” aka the unicorn that does not exist.

Awalt ewalt whatever. Even if just 1% of all women were unicorns, that makes 35,000,000 good women for the entire world.

There are 197 countries, distribute the women evenly, 17,767 per country. No, wait it gets worse.

50 states in the US, even distribution among counties… about 5.5 women per county.

The way I look at the whole AWALT/EWALT thing is, is that
1) All women have the fundamental instincts
2) Women are now incentivized to act on those instincts
3) YES, SOME women are able to overcome those instincts AND the incentivizing
4) The small % of #3 is TOO small to make a difference

If you think that you have a #3 Unicorn (despite the odds), then you are likely to be screwed.

People, including men, have logical biases and logical fallacies. Everyone is their own star of their own LIFE, everyone thinks they might win the lottery, everyone thinks they will defy the odds and find a unicorn. Everyone thinks they are special.

So we have to say AWALT, because a man’s biases will make him think the special HIM will be the rare exception to those men who can’t find the rare unicorns.

Its just how most people think that they are above average at driving, when that can’t be true.

The truth of AWALT all depends on how you frame it. If by AWALT you mean all women share a common nature which includes hypergamy, narcissism, and solipsism, then yes, all women are like that, no exceptions.

But when it comes to human behavior, there is a spectrum. Moral good and evil are based on our actions, not our nature. Female nature is not evil. Furthermore, we are not limited by our biology, since we have the freedom to choose contrary to our instincts. Men rise above their lizard brain instincts every time they see a hot woman and don’t forcefully f~~~ her on the spot.

Now we live in a society that actively encourages and rewards the worst kind of female behavior, while severely punishing the worst kind of male behavior. Naturally the number of good women in such an environment is going to be very small, but it is far from an impossibility.

The important thing to understand is that all women share the same nature, and all women are encouraged to act on the worst elements of their nature by society. Even if there are some good women who choose not to, they’re basically irrelevant among the masses who do.

Women are better at multitasking? Fucking up several things at once is not multitasking.
