Michael Vick criticized Collin Kaepernick for his idiocy, and many media outlets have misconstrued what he said out of context. Now BLM supporters online are calling him a coon, and an Uncle Tom for simply offering Collin Kaepernick some advice on how to renew faith in the public’s eyes.

    Thoughts?

I love seeing the left eat itself with racial politics.

First off, let’s look at the facts. Vick did wrong in his career and paid the price for it.

Kaepernick’s actions cost people to turn off the games!! NFL had their lowest ratings ever last season. And when people asked, they cited Kaepernick as one of the reasons.

But let’s simplify this even further, the dude sucks!! And has sucked for the last three seasons. Don’t give me the argument that he went to a Super Bowl. McNabb went to a Super Bowl with Philly. He still washed out of league. The NFL doesn’t care what you did years ago, or that you won years ago. They want to win, and win NOW!

I’m willing to bet nobody claims him this season. If they were, they would have done it by now. Hell rookies who were just drafted are settled in now. Not gonna bring Kaepernick in now and throw off the balance. Plus, wherever he goes, it will be a media circus. Teams don’t want that kind of publicity in their locker rooms.

This is just like that Michael Sam situation a few years ago. Nobody cared that he was gay until he made it about him being gay. I don’t doubt that there are gay players in the league. But they don’t try to outshine the team and that’s what Michael Sam did. All of that distraction took away from the fact that besides him being gay, he was a pretty good defensive lineman. All he had to do was shut up, and he would still be in the league.

Kaepernick is gonna make one hell of a 30 for 30 one day.

I agree. He did the crime, and paid the time.

I love dogs, but I forgive him for it.

I told my parents this would happen. The figures are out, and people are tired of politics invading every aspect of life. People watch sports to specifically escape all that s~~~. Americans are sick of the virtue signaling and the moral grandstanding.

Kaepernick is gonna make one hell of a 30 for 30 one day.

Oh I agree. He is a waste of space, and good f~~~ing riddance.

I don’t know what Vick is complaining about. He doesn’t have a dog in the fight.

I watched part of it earlier.
All Vick said was that the last two years he didn’t play very well and that he should lose the fro.

This is just like that Michael Sam situation a few years ago. Nobody cared that he was gay until he made it about him being gay. I don’t doubt that there are gay players in the league. Yup.

All he really accomplished was costing the NFL $.
I didn’t watch the SB this year b/c I knew it was gonna be a big lefty circle jerk that had a football game going on in the background.

Every time the talking heads on radio and TV bring up the Michael Vick case, I reminded again of just how stupid the media is, just how lazy the media is, and just how often the public unknowingly repeats the media’s stupid and lazy lies.

Michael Vick did not go to prison for dog fighting.

Michael Vick went to prison after making a plea bargain admitting he had violated the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. Vick admitted to operating and financing an interstate gambling operation, albeit a gambling operation which took bets on primarily dog fights but one which was also starting to expand into other sports.

The dog fighting charges were state, not federal, and Vick never served a day on them. He pleaded guilty and received a suspended sentence on the condition of paying fines, good behavior, and the successful completion of his federal prison time and parole.

Thanks for clarifying @oldbill! Essentially he went to prison for gambling via dog fights.

What we’re seeing is the Mike Vick being shut up because he hasn’t toed the narrative created by this Colin fella. So he gets called a coon. A name coincidently that if a white person called him, there would be an outcry.

Also look at the irony here. Mike Vick engages in speech that people don’t like and gets blowback and called a coon. Colin K. engages in speech that people don’t like and suffers consequences, well that’s wrong!! See the double standard and the underlying preference? People see through this crap and are tired of it. That’s what the BLM maggots don’t understand.

No. He didn’t go to prison for gambling. He went to prison for running and financing an interstate gambling operation.

He was the CEO, the CFO, the bank, the bookie, and the debt collector. The operation began by taking bets on dog fights and had recently begun taking bets on other sporting events. In fact, there are persistent rumors that the authorities were tipped to Vick’s operation because other bookmakers and bookmaking operations in the region were losing business.
