I wish this were true, I really do, but let’s face the facts, women are probably the primary subject on MGTOW. This kind of sucks for people like me but I decided to take the good with the bad. It would be nice to return to the days when the women would get together and talk about the men among other conversations, as opposed to what goes on here, but those days are unlikely to return. The ideal of mgtow changing nothing is a bit of a misconception especially on the part of Arabs in Europe due to the fact that Muslims will get Europeanized over time just like they would in America.

The wish that women will awake at one point and say: “hey you know what? you have to be a man and I have to be a woman, let’s work together to re-enstablish our roles” is just a dream that is dissolving in your hands like ice turning into water. Only insofar as road hazards can also be regarded as the “primary subject” for safe drivers. But when you navigate the roads, your primary focus is not on hazards. You’re only making sure they are NOT there…. so you can arrive at your destination safely.

I don’t think it’s a matter of changing the general nature of women. Women are who they’ve always been. I think men haven’t really changed either.

What has changed are the laws and society accepted behaviors. Women would be divorcing at the same rate in the 1950s as they do today if no-default divorce had allowed them to do so. Back then, women who had kids without being married were scorned by society. No man would marry her. It is not that women didn’t want to do all these things back then, it’s just that there were serious repercussions.

So to me, will MGTOW bring about changes to the law and/or society accepted behaviors? It certainly doesn’t hurt. I think we are a long way from that though. For one thing, the lack of ‘good men’ isn’t inspiring women to change their ways, they are typically doubling down on bad behavior and manipulation, as well as seeking government assistance.

Personally, I care about my kid’s future, but I’m pretty much settled in with my life without a wife regardless if what may change in laws or society. Even if you make it all equal, I still don’t see how living with someone improves life more than it puts restrictions on me.
