A close reading of the Bible turns up lots of “women obeying husbands” passages. The Koran, it goes without saying and I’ll say it anyway, is positively emphatic on this point. One can also find the same point expressed in Hinduism, Buddhism, and all the others that I’m familiar with.

Guys like him are the easiest targets. Young, good looking, intelligent, well spoken, faithful, a man of code and honor. Women couldn’t care less about your morals, logic, consistency, beliefs, anything that makes up who you are and what you represent.

Women are scoundrels. They are backstabbing, conniving, lying, manipulative rogue. The worst thing this guy could do was try to work things out. It’s a lose-lose situation. Either you stay on a man’s level, like he did, and lose horribly, or you lower down to her level, and you also lose because in the process you become the same as she is. The only way you can “win” is to go your own way and vanish.

Dude is still clinging to his innate gynocentric tendencies though, rationalizing about this “new generation of women” thing. Oh women are corrupted by big mean media, by TV shows and all that. Agreed, but with the erosion of holding women’s feet to the fire religeon has become a haven and incubator of female narcissism and repulses men from the church as the imbalance is also there and tilting ever in favor of female narcissism.
