I posted about a year and half ago how I was frustrated that I was passed over for promotion a couple times.

    MGTOW passed over for promotion

I found out this week I have been promoted into the acting supervisory role I have been trying for! I still have to interview to become permanent in the position, but for now I am in the position gaining experience with the increased pay and responsibility.

I couldn’t have done it without my MGTOW mindset being able to focus on doing my best at work.

Yeah I have had similar experiences although in my workplace it is more about them just not liking certain people. Some examples,

    * Was a manager that dealt extensively with program area that we look after. With this specific program they eventually separated it and I would have been interested in exploring it. So what did they do? They brought in a manager from another site who had no clue with it, had to be trained from scratch. She stayed a few months then went on 12 months maternity leave. She had heaps of time off and eventually transferred.

    * She was replaced by the buddy of the upper manager who also had no experience with it and also had to be trained from scratch.

    * Seen 2 people (both men, both white) get promoted despite no advertising of the position and despite them never being managers themselves.

So as a result, I lost interest in the managerial role and stepped down. Great decision it was a dead end job. I mean so is this one I have now but it’s also stress free. The irony is I still get more money than the bitch who was promoted ahead of me.

In short, always look at what you have, I am not trying to be an arsehole or anything, just look at different ways to do things and what you really want in life.

Because I actually realized after years of trying and dealing with it all that I don’t want to climb the corporate ladder at all.

    Good on you Batman.

Same where I work and millions f other places of work. Be blue pill and kiss ass is what they want.

Always amuses me how employers don’t like constructive feedback…
