MGTOW non-conformity as a way to deal with globalization.

I end up personally rejecting the whole nationalism angle as the cure to the problems of the world, because nationalism, or any tribalist (or identity politics) solution that attempts to collectively gather people together of likeness, and have them use the power of government to work together, will end up causing non-conformists to (at best) be exiled, or (at worse) imprisoned, if not executed. The collective will decide that men need to “man up”, and pass all forms of state bullying to put the collective before themselves. There is an seductive appeal to this, to end up listening to someone who says your default position is on the side of right, and those who are different are the real problem.

Ok, this is likely a vane attempt to maybe spin the non-conformity side of what I see around MGTOW (particularly this site), as maybe an answer to something. It goes beyond just the not marrying part, which is given, but also into really going your own damn way in life, without regards for what others say, unless they are of benefit for you. Think of what benefit it would be in a world where globalization is happening, and diverse cultures clash, if a group of men really express their own thoughts, and coexist and help each other in a way they all benefit from it. MGTOW managing to work things out, going even Gult’s Gulch in their interactions, could end up being a way that could work.

Ok, this is a pipedream, which has a ton of belling the cat issues, but why not think on it? I certain find this a lot better then having to enter some space and endlessly argue with others on the right state of so and so, and have to put up with endless “man up” arguments.

The scenario you’re describing has happened in the past. In the time period of Roman metropilises being overrun by barbarians, and political corruption. Groups of Christian men went and built monastaries in the middle of the wilderness and formed small communities that had commercial interaction with the barbarians. Those communities were similar to the Amish we see today without women.

I disagree with you on the dangers of nationalism. Nationalism although not perfect is far better then globalization. It preserves culture and identity. In terms of the United States of America all the citizens have to do is ensure the bill of rights and the constitution are upheld.

In so doing a man can be whatever he wants without fear of a collective mindset. A nonconformist or any descending voice is protected under law.

What is the goal of these globalist?

A global government! Global fascism!

They want to create this homogenized Carmel colored human bieng with no identity, no connection to any culture.

How boring, I prefer a world that has flavor, Asian people, White people, Black people, Hispanic… ect.

And there is a greater chance to preserv this with nationalism.

Either way the world is screwed. When people actually care more about the Kardashians than their own lives…. well it seems hopeless to me.

For myself, I don’t hold going MGTOW (I use IGMOW, or I Go My Own Way) to differentiate from a view of MGTOW as being a common view (MGTOW Together) because the thing here is that what I see is that by trying to figure out how to be able to survive and so on, and individual men being able to be islands of one, that do exchange, is that the negative side of globalization could have ways to be dealt with. I don’t expect any other man to view things, or even agree with me.

What I would say is the difference he is the outward form is the same, but a common ideology (or world view) is missing from it. I see that, unless one wants the authority of the state to act as a thug to force compliance, then there needs to be the other way.

A response to globalization can be a one world government with ultimate power. The other side can be that it just breaks down, and individuals work out problems together, before managing to get to that place. When the entire society looks like it will burn down, the powers that be will then try to prevent things. What I would say is, if men who are opting out, find out ways to form means of mutual support, at at least coexist peacefully without wars among themselves, then this would be of benefit to prevent the authoritarian state from kicking in.

Globalization is what happens when individuals start to trade, and demand they have individual rights not under the boot of authority. The marketplace undermines nationalism, to govern buying power, and this causes a bunch of side effects to happen.

I agree with pabsawake on everything he stated except for nationalism being the answer. The worst war seen yet was fought because of nationalism. The Great War offered the worst mankind had to offer, endless artilery, poisin gas,endless slaughter,genocide. I would agree that the collapse result of globalization to be the answer to prservation. The major problem with that is that it’s only a chance, could take quit along time allowing for much irreprable damage to humanity and freedom. I personaly feel that the times we are living in now will be the teetering over the edge to one world government/1984 or a collapse of globalism on itself.
Time will tell I suppose, but then it could be too late.

If I read the situation correctly, we’re already “globalistic” under the guise of nations.

With the brexit and Islamic infiltration, each nation is reasserting themselves as a united front against outsiders, be they terrorist or ruling political party.

Brexit means nothing, The UK is still fully paid up member of globalist groups like –

The UN
NATO
The World Bank
The IMF
The commonwealth of Nations
WEU
OSCE
The Council of Europe
OECD

And the way Brexit is being dragged out don’t be surprised if there is another referendum on EU membership in the very near future.
