I stumbled upon MGTOW when, after another relationship where I felt completely taken for granted, I was questioning (yet again) why neither myself nor anyone I knew could name a logical, bona-fide benefit of marriage. Google led me to a page titled “Comments from Married Men”. For anyone who hasn’t read it (or read it recently), you can find it here: /comments-from-married-men/

I had never found such a compelling, cogent, and definitive commentary on the subject. It emphatically ended my vacillation, and enabled me to take that fabled red pill..

It was the best choice I have ever made.

Gentlemen, thank you. This community of disillusioned and enlightened men has given me not just an outlet, but a means to celebrate that inexorable inner voice asking “WHY?”:

Why are you entitled to the fruits of my labor, to loot and spend at your whim?

Why are my efforts greeted with indifferent expectation, rather than reciprocation and gratitude?

Why are your needs always met as a matter of requirement, but mine as a matter of convenience?

Why are my priorities selfish or ignorant, while yours are worthwhile beyond reproach?

Why do you make me feel inadequate, when you can only feel validated by standing on my shoulders?

That inner voice cannot be quelled.

You helped me comprehend that happiness, like success, is not a sexually transmitted disease. It is a choice, a life path that reaffirms all of the possibility and inherent greatness of who you are and what you can achieve… with the complete absence of regret. It is earned, by the deliberate thought and dedicated action that YOU take, as you, and no other, are accountable. After 29 years of rebellion against my nature, ignoring my core principles of merit and justice in order to appease friends, “soul mates”, and family members, my happiness is now the sole aim of my actions. My relationships no longer exist on the basis of my charity – I only exchange value for value. I lack the vocabulary to adequately convey how simple and utterly enjoyable life has become since reaching that epiphany.

I am now and forever a MGHOW. Thank you. Strength and honor.

“We are on strike, we, the men of the mind. We are on strike against self-immolation. We are on strike against the creed of unearned rewards and unrewarded duties. We are on strike against the dogma that the pursuit of one's happiness is evil. We are on strike against the doctrine that life is guilt.”

    Welcome brother.

Men offer and a woman accepts the best offer among her options. A man foolishly believes it’s what love feels like.

MGTOW is not 50% off or buy 2 get 1 free for a lady. It is utter freedom, 100% discount on everything you chose to not buy for a woman.

    Live wise, spend wise.

    Leave the unwise be.

It sounds like Atlas finally shrugged!!! haha
Welcome Atlas and what a great intro!
One of the oldest truisms in human history is that “Happiness is a decision”,. A habitual choice but anyone can start the habit at any time.
