    Not really relevant to his message, but seeing a man use a lighter to start a cigar, badly, makes me sad.

    What is your preference or is it that you miss no longer smoking?

    It’s not a matter of preference. It’s just… such a waste. Why go to the effort of selecting a fine, tasty cigar and then spoil the flavor and aroma with lighter fuel? Sure some lighters are better than others, but even the cleanest butane model (and that looked like a cheapo gas station disposable to me) is going to have an effect if you use it over and over and over like that to start up.

    I have this strong urge to go hunt down some Hank Hill from King of the Hill regarding this, but realize it doesn’t quite fit, and also I am too lazy and tired to go and do it.
