Well, I guess that makes me one of the numerous “odd ones out”, since I definitely know the differences and meanings of every one of those three words you mentioned and it doesn’t even stop there …

Mind you I don’t mean to brag in all honesty.

But you know, there are some German people that are (even to me) really hilarious when talking English especially when it comes to pronunciation. At this point forget about Arnold Schwarzenegger (he was Austrian anyway so that’s a different story). But then there is this politician dude called Norbert Oettinger who seriously gave this in part embarrassing and in other parts quite funny speech in front of lots of running TV cameras. Now, sorry to come across a bit malicious here, but like I shared it with Smitty last night on the live chat here it is again (and yes, you will need those English subtitles in order to understand him… … watch):

To me he seems almost like the verbal articulation of google translate.

I heard ever since he delivered that speech, he started to take more lessons, so again bless him for that decision alone.
