I have high hopes for Generation Z. I have two sons in your generation. I’m so glad that you guys are already well versed in knowledge that took the rest of us years, even decades to really absorb. I really feel like Generation Z will be the turning point for this whole mess. It’s been building for a while, but Generation Z is going to light the dynamite IMO. Oh I can’t wait. I fully see where your coming from. I was raised in an era where Sean Connery, Steve McQueen and Clint Eastwood were the role models. Now all you get is a wimps, whiners and simps; nothing a man can look up to. It is disheartening.

Funny enough I hardly Care to watch the movies nowadays, I get teased for liking the “old stuff” Clint Eastwood, Steve McQueen, John Wayne, Henry Fonda and Terrence Hill, the old Star Wars (the ones that don’t suck)

and I can’t stand music nowadays, I’ll take Iron Maiden and guns and roses over whatever trashy pop-song some skank sings any day of the week.

Its so true. I didn’t realize how big of a role economics played in it when I was younger, wasn’t making a lot, and really didn’t have any significant assets, but the older I get, the more I accumulate, and the higher my wages go the more I realize how s~~~ty of a deal marriage is.

Not only do I have more to lose, but I have less time to recover before retirement, and the only reward for the increased risk is marrying a woman that is older, more in debt, and has taken more c~~~s than what previous generations of men could have expected to marry.

Basically I don’t want a serious relationship, even if it didn’t involve merging finances, with a woman around my age because most of them are disgusting. The idea that I’d want to devote myself to a disgusting woman AND put my ass on the line financially is just laughable.

Same here. It isn’t just us older guys. I see groups of young guys completely ignoring groups of young girls. The girls of course are completely oblivious of the young boys, because they all have their faces buried into their phones.
