And in some ways, I hate MRAs even more so than feminists. They end up bullying men who want to remain single. They also blame everything on my generation. I may surprise you to know that I was a highly respected commenter over there for months. I have snapshots of tremendously positive feedback. I even broke their rule “respond to a female and get banned”, and openly expected to be banned.

There are several things going on here i believe.
I read years ago that feminist studies students can get extra credit by commenting online anywhere that people are critical of feminism.

Throughout it all, the original hardcore MGTOWs will soldier on at a handful of sites and venues. There will be a small, but noticeable, increase in the number men truly interested in the movement’s ideas. The increased visibility will bring in more men who are curious, some will like what they find, and some will stay. In the end, more men will be saved.

The next few years will be hard, but after it all MGTOW will be somewhat larger, more resilient, and more well known.

Looks like my crystal ball was rather clear. We’re seeing more mainstream attention and there have been more trolls lately. We’re seeing the first of the grind-a-buck, bandwagon, poseurs too, as Patten’s presence neatly illustrates.

Lately I’ve seen an influx of videos and articles claiming that MGTOW is a hate speech movement towards women or lonely virgins who are raging because they can’t get laid. None of them actually interview people living this philosophy and it’s not a movement, contrary to what they think.

Thing is, most MGTOW have already had girlfriends or have even been married and have kids. Those ones learned the hard way and the virgins are learning from their elders’ mistakes without regret.

As for hate, a lot of men are fine talking to or working with women as long as they don’t pull the victim card or try to manipulate them. If they act like respectable human beings then there’s no problem. Just don’t expect serious dating or marriage because that’s a final nail in a man’s coffin with it’s current setup.

I did try and jerk one out in a a319 but the p2 looked uncomfortable and my legs kept making the rudder flutter.

You caught how I feel here. I get along great with most of the women I work with or who work for clients. I am far more concerned with capability, capacity and potential than anything else. But it is no coincidence that the women who excel in many “male dominated” fields I have worked in reject modern feminism.

Hated ? Not at all, these women get a lot of respect because they do something old fashioned. They earn it.

What I think a lot of these PUAs cannot seem to even fathom is that some of us chose not to run around like chickens with our heads cut off in order to get laid. We don’t want to, have to or need to.

Many PUAs can’t seem to get it into their skulls that they are hard working idiots. “Hard working idiots” are people who work hard and expend a lot of energy when they don’t have to, like scurrying to find sand on a beach or trees in the woods.

PUAs act like women are rare and impossible to find when they are surrounded by them. They act desperate and the women know it and act accordingly.

The PUA is never “in control”, his frantic efforts reek of desperation and the women use it. Just as anyone would in any transaction.

The MGTOW can, as Leykis points out, calmly wait 10 minutes for the next bus (like me) or just walk instead (monks) as the PUA runs around screaming for a taxi at any price.

It is often the PUA who expends so much effort as a hard working idiot that projects his frustrations into others. He cannot imagine not working hard to get laid or simply not bothering.

As for MRAs, I lurked for a while on a few boards and was not impressed. Trying to “fix” Traditional Marriage is like trying to fix the horse and buggy for the modern Autobahn. They also often seem to force a “one size fits all” approach onto others. And no, the modern world won’t blow up because I didn’t get married.

Just because they want to have a Traditional Marriage and a family, doesn’t mean everyone does. They are similar to the PUA in they cannot fathom someone else wanting to go in a different direction than them. Instead of trying to understand the other person, hey just resort to insults and name calling. They assume that just because they want it, everyone should want it.

The record of their efforts against feminism appear to be a total failure. Trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results is insanity.

MGTOW is not only far more flexible, it is flexibility by definition.

But not getting married or letting her move in keeps your autonomy in tact. You retain the “power to say no” without having to pay a lawyer to grovel before a judge arguing over laws you had little to no say in.

You retain the power to stay or go as you freely decide. No judges, lawyers or “system” can so easily interfere.

MGTOW is about you deciding for you. That is why it is not a “one size fits all” solution.

You cannot have both a Traditional Marriage and your own autonomy anymore. This is the MRA’s equivalent of the modern feminists “you can have it all” lie.

I should also note the amount of fury directed at MGTOW by feminists and their friends.

MRAs and PUAs don’t scare them nearly as much because they are foolish enough to bring their chips to the feminist’s rigged roulette wheel.

MGTOWs don’t even play their game. There is no risk to not playing a rigged game.

MGTOW is a far bigger threat in their eyes. Not because of anger, hate, fury or large amounts of effort and resources that are used.
