I am an ignostic atheist. I have heard so many definitions for god that at this point I just don’t see the point in arguing the existence one way or another. I still haven’t met two Christians who agree on the definition of god. I don’t proselytize though, I find that one can’t argue rationally for or against a belief. People have to come to those ideas on their own. Probably because so much belief is emotional and reason is useless against emotion.

I’m an atheist. Although, if something extraordinary were to happen, I’d believe. I just need proof. Don’t get me wrong, I want to believe in God, but my rational mind just won’t allow it without proof. Just like I want to believe in a unicorn, but until I see proof of one actually existing, I won’t believe.

The bible prophecies is how god prooves that he really exists.

What if someone would do actual wonders, like let fire come down from heaven with his hands? would you believe him that hes Jesus?

Lets face it… you guys dont want proof ( this comment was the one that got thumbed up the most ), what you want are wonders performed that you can witness with your own eyes.

The fact that the law of cause and effect works for everything else, without an exception, just not for an atheist doesnt seem to be bothering you…

I said that i found alot of proofs already, but noone gets curious and demands that i show one.

Noone answered my question either, so you obviously cannot be bothered with proof.

I feel that a religion will control you as much as you allow it to. You can let it run your life, do the thinking for you or you can only allow it to be a guide while you do your own thinking. I’m Greek Orthodox. My religion guides me but it does not control me. I think that allowing a religion to control a mans life is form of idolatry. It would be a way of putting the belief system one would affiliate himself over God Himself, therefore his religion would be god instead putting in place god as being God. I think of religion as a cup and spirituality as water. If one is only religious then he is just like an empty cup full of potential for purpose but no actual purpose. If one is only spiritual he’s like water spilled on the ground, no guide, chaotic. Pour the water into the cup and there is water that is guided and a cup to guide it, together they form a purpose. I know that many MGTOW don’t believe in God and that’s ok. I for one do. I just thought I’d give my own little insight.

Religion is just another system of control in society.

We men are controled by women who exploit our need for sex and afection.

Religion exploits our need to be in a group, it was invented by men trying to exploit the resources of other men.

Have you been Orthodox Christian your entire life pretty much? I am a convert (Ended up in the Orthodox Church of America and I now attend an Antiochian Orthodox Church near where I am). For me, it is all make a decision, so I am curious about yourself. I do know that, as I posted in a prior video (I think I also commented about myself doing YouTube videos), that MGTOW has been in Orthodoxy for centuries, with monks and so on.
