Haha I would also tell them I think of them like a little sister. I remember the brother thing was very popular at some point, they knew full well what they were doing, I think they dropped it because a lot of men kept calling them a sister and they didn’t like it.

I’ve also just played things aloof. This simply leads them to trying to get your attention more and remarking to each other that you must be “shy”. But it keeps you out of trouble, as women are utterly incapable of overtly making any moves, hence if you really don’t care for them, it’s just a matter of not doing anything yourself.

But back in college what I’d do is play word games or just use clever repartee or whatever it is called. Even back then all the women liked to claim they were smarter than men and all tried to put up this front of being better. When I’d get introduced to a woman like that, I’d immediately start messing with her. Usually what happened was within 5 minutes the “smart girl” schtick was gone, they’d get a glazed look in their eyes, smile stupidly, and pretty much just say they were just a girl and practically beg me to take them. Back then I used to really think I was just smarter than everybody else, I was a STEM major but rather immature and foolish, as age has taught me that the more you think you know the dumber you actually are. But being young, that type of arrogance and smugness is something women absolutely love.

LOLOL this thread is full of epic humor ! The mental image is priceless. I agree that messing with them is a waste of time. But hell, sometimes many of us have one of those “I’m bored” moments.

I guess I just don’t see the value in agitating women (or anyone). I just let my “no” be “no” and leave it at that.

This is how I feel too- my time and attention can be better invested in other activities or entertainment.
