I remember the brother of a colleague of mine (and my selft for that account).

First thing I thought as well…if he didn’t outright pay off her debts, the dude probably at a minimum supported her for a decade as she went through med school. She finished up and finally started making bank, then told him thanks for financing the last 10 years of my life, but its time for me to try to trade up.

I think its unfortunate it went to this extreme, but I’ve seen situations like this roll out in real life before. Some hopeless sucker thinks they found their perfect partner, makes a significantly lopsided contribution to the relations~~~ early on, then when the relations~~~ fails they realize they got f~~~ed. I can completely understand how someone could snap if they woke up one day and realized some future they have spent a significant amount of time and resources working towards just got ripped away from them.

Just imagine you spent years building a business from the ground up with someone in which you put forth all the investment capital to get it started, then through some legal loophole at some point in the future they claim 100% ownership of the business and fire you, your entire investment is gone, years of hard work was for nothing, and the person who f~~~ed you over is basically now in a significantly better position in life than you, thanks to all the money and work they screwed you out of. I’d like to think I wouldn’t go so far as to physically harm someone if I was put in this situation, but everyone has a breaking point, and I guess she found his. We’d probably have a lot less of these situations as well if people smartened the f~~~ up and just admitted to themselves marriage is a business agreement and nothing more.

First three years – Couldn’t afford anywhere to live.

Had a commercial space for vehicles and equipment.

And an office attached to it. Slept in my commercial space, on a twin mattress. No kitchen just a microwave. Had a stand up shower installed at one point (write off, LOL) Worked 14 hour days, 26-28 days a month.

Signed everyone’s paychecks every two weeks while personally, I was living off credit cards.

No vacations for that three year period. Massive operating debt for the first 24/36 months.

High stress. . .

But now I take off for 3-4 months at a time to road trip / skydive.

Consider putting money in my Edward Jones and Ameriprise accounts, a fun hobby.

And I have laughed while blowing in excess of $9,000 in the last year and a half keeping my 15 year old dog alive.

Best part now is:

I wrapped up my journey into blue pill hell before I had things stabilized financially. My ex pumpkins are all with beta wallets now.

It’s nice knowing that during my blue pill era, I got hardcore porn induced sex from those pumpkins at a bargain rate. And now beta wallets get what I tore up and smashed while paying premium pricing.
