This is all we are good for. We are nothing but an ATM to them. Nothing but resources to be used. Nothing but money to be spent. And they get mad when you have money and don’t spend it on them. I know plenty of older people at my church who would say “Well, he isn’t married, what is he spending his money on?” They think in such small terms. What about building wealth, building a business, traveling the world. Doing whatever you want to do. You don’t have to spend money on them, because when you give them all of your money, you won’t have any.

Don’t let these folks shame you into anything.
