The way I read this, is that young men are considering a females finances when they partner up (Read: student loan debt).

A female with $20K or more in student loan debt for a degree with low pay back opportunity is just radioactive.

Men know that marriage costs a lot of money and are trying to limit the damages (prenups, taking the fact of female debt into account). Women still believe that just because they made bad moves (like enrolling in 4 year university) that men will just pay it off. While we are too poor to get into university and are unwilling to get into that much debt.

I have no doubt that it is true. The men are more and more finding financial attractiveness is actually more important than physical attractiveness in women. Because at the end of the day, everyone else demands that after men are denied all these opportunities, we are still demanded to pay their bills.

I mean seriously, why would I, or any other man, want to take on additional debt that he didn’t incur himself?
Normally, when I buy something second hand/used it is less expensive, BECAUSE its used.
I wouldn’t buy a used car if I knew I had to pay full advertised price up front, and then also pay the former users/owners outstanding liabilities on it.
Why on earth would I do that with a woman??

After 1st divorce, debt = 40,000.
