Just a few memories…

Too bad I can’t post pictures of my weed plantation, bong toking and drinking era. And no pictures of my cars. That would give my identity away… In the early 90’s, only 500 cars of my type were still on German roads and even fewer with such a flashy color combination. And it was seen in so many rear view mirrors…

I’m still sad I gave it away in 2005. It was from the 1970’s Jägermeister era… But two models above the Jägermeister cult car that manufacturer had put out. It was the most stable structure ever built in a German mass market car at that time. And all them were used up in stock car racing… then they had these stripes again…

But I liked it for it’s modern single suspension system, ruggedness and low centrifugal point. You could not roll it…
And the weight distribution was “center” because of that heavy rear axle.

All fine fabric seats and panels with almost no plastic, made even a middle priced stereo sound extremely good in there.

So back to a Friday night organ test… most Friday nights we tested the organs of our cars. The neighbors heard us coming. My friend with the 2.8 K-Jetronic model had an open air filter, drilled sound holes in his mufflers and his “boom” would even scare the cats away.

I only made tire squeaking noises. And spread my music as good as I could. (Back then, we didn’t turn our cars into 1000 watt ear killers.)

But later at night we would go out in the forest to detonate our self-built pipe bombs. Some of them had more that a kilo of gun powder in them. On one occasion we used up an old can of “Sodium nitrate” weed killer, outlawed since the 70’s and my friend found it in the garage of his parents.

Too bad these times came to an end after the first stupid c~~~ “made a man out of him”… That turned him from a loyal friend into a pussy chaser…

Thanks man I was wondering—but Hitman is right I was born in Germany but I’ve spent to majority of my life here in the Good old USA and in the SOUTH! Got a big Confederate Flag in the window!
