Memorial Day is just around the corner and in the United States of America it is time to remember those who lost their lives while serving in the Armed Forces. While this time of reflection has always been associated with the Military, I have always included those First Responders who perished while in uniform, as well as all civilians who answered the call within my thoughts. This first people to respond during both World Trade Center attacks were civilians.
“The bravest are surely those who have the clearest vision of what is before them, glory and danger alike, and yet notwithstanding, go out to meet it.”
While recognized as an exclusively American holiday and time of remembrance, Memorial Day should honor every service member worldwide who paid the ultimate sacrifice while defending and protecting our freedoms.
“Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it”
My sincere thanks to all MGTOW brothers around the world who raised their hand to serve, as well as everyone who supported those on the front lines.
Remembering those who have fallen.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God such men lived”

Anonymous42I got my own Memorial Day with PLENTY OF F~~~ING S~~~ TO REMEMBER! Life itself has become a f~~~ing battle!
Roger that. I was talking to someone yesterday that every veteran has PTSD, some injuries more evident than others. This is just one form of invisible injury suffered and rarely recognized. Hang in there and keep fighting.

silly c~~~.Like to see how they feel about that after eating a bullet in a war.
A MGTOW is a man who is not a woman's bitch!
Separating the politics that resulted in Armed Forces members being sent into Harm’s Way from the fact that Armed Forces personnel have died during combat operations, the fact remains that Memorial Day was established to honor those who died while serving in combat operations.
It is very easy to allow politics to enter within the discussion and begin to question why service members died during combat operations, however this is not the reason the US Government has set aside one day a year to remember those fallen service members.
Memorial Day focuses on US Armed Forces members, both male and female, who died while on active duty in combat operations. This does not include any civilians or non-military government employees who died while supporting combat operations. While the vast majority of deaths are male, there have been, and will continue to be females who die in combat. The last 15 years (2001 to 2016) has seen 106 US Armed Forces female soldiers die in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait supporting US Army combat operations.
I look forward to taking part in future discussions regarding the role of females within military services, Military/Industrial Complex spending issues, the role of the Military in resolving political agendas and strategies, and other related topics at another point.
I continue to respect and honor those fallen comrades that my father served with, and those that I had the honor of serving with as well. Out of this respect, remember the fallen.
The fact the current enlistment or commissioning within the Armed Services is voluntary means that those killed in the line of duty made the choice to join. Their choice eventually placed them in combat where they were killed. Memorial Day is about remembering this sacrifice, nothing more and nothing less.
As with everything in life people are allowed to choose what they do and what they support for the most part. This is the primary reason for the creation of the MGTOW website after all.
Freedom is a very special thing and should never be taken for granted. I hope that everyone has an enjoyable Memorial Day weekend.
