I’ve seen brothers band together and that is what this site is good for.

You weren’t the only brother here who saw that profile. You were, however, the brother who chose to create a thread about it. The fact that others may have created the thread if you hadn’t does not matter. All that matters is that you chose do to it.

And you can just as easily choose not to do it.

I created a thread over two years ago explaining how MGTOW’s growing visibility meant troll would be the new normal. The trolls are here just as I predicted and we’re behaving just as I feared. We’re choosing to entertain them.

There’s a reason these trolls single out certain members by name. It’s because they know by doing so they’ll get the entertaining responses they want and the attention they crave.

With Keymaster’s increasingly intermittent oversight, we’re on our own. He’s not here every day, his mods don’t exist, and our reports which generate text messages are ignored. Without someone able to flush away trolls and close the threads their presence creates, it’s up to the membership to moderate themselves. Sadly, self-moderation is beyond the abilities of a few members here.

Because some of us can’t control themselves and will always start fires like this one, it’s important for the rest of us not to add any more fuel to the blaze. Therefore, report, ignore, and don’t actively participate in the threads we all know will still be created.

Perhaps, just perhaps, the trolls will grow tired of tweaking the same old characters and more on.

Chase -you weren’t to know that we had a slate of threads while you were away from the forum about tuna infiltration.

I am guilty of setting up one. It went over 10-15 pages. Caused a lot of infighting.

Some saying we should simply ignore the tuna. Others saying we should be allowed to engage in tuna hunting.

Neither side of that argument is right or wrong. We simply all see things differently. There’s vs.id points on both sides.

But – and this is the important thing – it doesn’t matter who is right or wrong, we look a bit stupid fighting over petty th8ngs.

This afternoon I was taking glimpses at the TV in front of me in the coffee shop. You’re correct in several regards, but consider this… Who really ends up being the troll when it’s all said and done? The one who created the account (and is in spectator mode and can’t do s~~~), or the one who effectively hijacks the forum, and participates in number threads all centered around one (1) person who can’t do s~~~.. Who can’t reply, who can’t make threads? We talk about this place being one that saves men. Do you think it’s in the best interest of the men who are hurting, who are in the gutter, who need help, that come here and see the mindless s~~~ being the narrative of the site when they come here looking for answers?

I understand there’s a “fun” side to it. But common sense goes a long way. Someone who is looking for answers is going to move on when she see these “hunts”, they think the forum is nothing but a bunch of clowns. We want to ATTRACT men to being here. Not drive them away. Why? Because this is a place FOR men. But in many circumstances, the “inside” trolls are worse for the forum than the “outside” trolls.

Report, ignore, and move on. Keymaster and his mythical moderators will get to the problem in two or three days. Until then, don’t give them the attention they want.

Reporting isn’t even really necessary. Keymaster can see their names. He can tell who to approve and who not to. Esp considering they’re already IN spectator mode. So even with reporting them to Keymaster, outside of him deleting their accounts, they’re simply going to stay in spectator mode.
