This is why I really feel bad for the younger guys. For many of us, as we get older, our need for women diminishes with time and lessons learned. My own need or desire for female companionship is now absolute zero.

But younger men are still dealing with their natural drive for that companionship. Most I fear are not going to heed what they are being told by guys like us and are just going to have to learn everything on their own…the hard way.

I just wish that we could somehow be more effective at getting our message out to these young guys. 🙁

Autolite, I agree with you the younger guys are going to lose much more than we did. I did my procreating. It cost me more than it should but it was still worth it. I did not get accused of rape or abuse or anything. I did nto get treated as disposably as young men are treated today.

in the end procreation is an inner urge that is a good healthy one that is the reason why we all got here. It is not healthy to deny the primal urge of life. It is also not good for your mental or financial health to mess with women. Its something of a catch 22.

I personally will never tell a young man not to procreate. In fact I would say it was the normal thing to aspire to in a successful man’s life. I would however say young men need serious lessons in risk limitation. Mountains are dangerous but it can still be good for young men to climb them. Mountains kill men. I knew a few good climbers who died when I was into that sport but no one ever said “mountains are too dangerous avoid them.” What they did say was; understand risk. Understand weather, understand heat loss, altitude, avalanche risk, build good protection systems, move fast when you can, travel as light as you can safely do so that you get less tired and go faster, learn to read rock, try to retain perspective… These are the things young men are not being taught when it comes to women.

Young men are just told “love her, take the best care of her you can and be a good beta and it will all be OK” That is like saying “Just go and climb. If you try really hard it will be OK”. Mountains do not respect intentions and neither do women. There are danger signs, there are protection systems, there are ways to minimise a fall in most situations. There are safer approaches and there are reckless ones…. I am sometimes tempted to wrote a book for young men on keeping safe while reproducing. There are loads of manuals on belay systems for climbers and climbing is a far more niche pursuit than reproduction.

Yes I can rationally justify adding people to the world.

Would you like to pass natural selection? That is the only question that counts. Of those who say no, some folk are not up to it, others don’t think they deserve it and some are so bound up in a sort of liberal duty that they feel it is irresponsible to be so selfish.

I take completely the opposite view. I want it and I am going to earn it. I am here because every man and woman who was my ancestor passed natural selection. before them there were monkeys and fish and bacteria that all did the same. It is the very driver of nature and the means by which the world is made new and better each generation -by the winners being a little better than the losers each time. Do you want to be a winner?

A bottle neck event in the gene pool is coming. A time of great prosperity will end soon and the easy reproduction regardless of merit that has accompanied will end. Many second rate specimens will be unable to pass through the bottle neck. Do you want to try to win that contest or do you want to sit it out as hopeless?

Liberals don’t like themselves a whole lot and they don’t like others much either. They say we should curb our reproduction. They are likely to be the losers in the bottle neck event. Likewise those who reproduced carelessly without thought will likely make poor quality descendants and they too will fail to pass through the bottle neck.

If you want your descendants to own a part of the future you are going to need to fight for it and f~~~ for it.

We are all different and I respect other views but this is my view. It could be called a rationalisation but honestly when folk need a rationalisation for a moral view point they are often on shaky ground to start. My insides tell me this is right and I am going to do it. Happily I already did it. I think my reproducing days are over. I am pretty much maxed out as far as capacity to help my children financially and with my time and now for me it is about pushing the next generation forward not creating it. I would not say never but I would say it is not in my mind to reproduce again unless made a very good offer and existing mates are at the very end of their fertility anyway. It would probably be against my interests and the interests of my children. For younger men it is more difficult.

In an attempt to better address your valid point about the world being such a messed up place and not needing more messing up, I would say that every animal alters its habitat and overpopulation depletes the habitat. Nature will do the redressing of the balance don’t worry. We are breeding more poor quality specimens. Every year more physically and mentally deficient individuals are coming into the world and there are less and less forests and clean waters. Its a bummer. Its due to our own success. However the game of evolution will go on, just with less species and less individuals after the extinction event we are now in has passed. If you want to win you need to be in that game. Over population is always followed by a bottle neck event. Its simple logic. Make no mistake the extinction event is already happening, just as it has happened before in the history of this world. We have created it and as the most successful species about at the moment we will be the last to pass run its gauntlet but it is happening and now is not a time to sit still if you have the fire in your belly that wins natural selection.

We are not gods we are hairless monkeys. Leave the population problem to the gods. They will fix it in the usual ways -plague, famine, war, sterility of the unfit, suicide and abortion by the deficient. The poor quality specimens will perish ere long. Those liberals who have the hubris to tell you suspend the drivers of life will perish too by their own scheme. You just be the best monkey you can. There is no mystery here, no great problem to solve, just nature doing its thing.

I can understand where they are coming from and I can see how folk like me are the butt of their jokes. But I am still what I am and I still have a hand in the great game of evolution and I don’t want to give it up.

This makes light of things a bit and its a bit of an answer to some of the genuinely funny cartoons on the VHEMT site in which I am the butt of the joke. -Its a bit like saying “do you have a problem with homosexuals?” No the more homosexuals around the more pussy there is for real men. The more VHEMT volunteers there are around the more slots there are going to be open on the other side of the coming bottle neck for the descendants of those who do strive for natural selection.

However to continue the analogy I would not like homosexuals trying to convert my family and for my son to be persuaded that homosexuality was a good lifestyle for him and I would also not like my son to be persuaded that throwing away his chips in the great game of life was a good idea. If I had a child that was just born queer, that would be a bummer and he would have to make the best life he could and I would not disown him but if he was a bit of a waverer I would not want him pushed the wrong way. Likewise some are not fated to succeed at natural selection but if people can and if they are “my lot” I hope they will.

For me MGTOW is a survival mechanism in a world that is harsh to men. I do not actually want to avoid all interactions with women or reproduction with them (though I reckon I am done there when it comes to resource allocation, so I see no need to add any more females to my world at all)

How is existing better than never having existed at all?

I just don’t understand how that can be the case. I feel that I’m doing a great favour to every person that I have not brought into existence. If you have never existed, you wouldn’t even know that you have never existed. How can that possibly be a ‘bad thing’???

I think also too that young guys just don’t believe (or don’t want to believe) the horror stories that the older MGTOWS tell. Some of those tales are pretty incredible and I’m most certain that many young guys think that we’re all just old, bitter and full of shhit.

They likely don’t understand that we’re sincerely trying to save them from the same horrible fates. And by the time that they realize for themselves that we weren’t making this shhit up it’s already too late… 🙁

I agree with all you have said here. Doctors like to do procedures on people. It makes them feel useful and it makes them money. It may stop one or two people from dying but at the cost of much good to the rest. Generally the strong will live anyway, so they have only saved the weak to become a drag on the strong. Certainly there is a factory system from birth through education to tax paying and eventually death where the “good citizen” is moulded by knocking everyone into a box of an easily led sheep who will turn out he tax money. Add to this the effects of feminism on motherhood and the family and you have a total mess. In the end a healthy female should be able to give birth unassisted and a healthy child will usually survive unmedicated. Children are best not raised in a factory system.

One should however not also forget to also factor in the effects of easy breeding. In the past the physically disabled found it hard to get a mate because they were not a good choice -they could not work as well and they could not raise children as well. The welfare state has now made it a lot easier for the physically disabled to live fuller lives and to reproduce but if their disability has genetic origins (as opposed to bad luck in life), then they are only weakening the gene pool. An equally or more serious effect on the gene pool is the way the welfare state houses and feeds those who can’t keep in work work or keep in relationships because of psychological issues. Many of these problems are genetic in origin. These people get together have lots of dysfunctional relationships and produce even more dysfunctional kids (both as a product of upbringing and of genetics) that the state feeds.

We are going full steam the wrong way to having a healthy population on a healthy planet but interestingly in this lies our eventual salvation -this mass expansion of the unfit is only viable because of great economic strength. All liberal policies weaken the resource generating capacity of the people. The system must eventually collapse under the load of carrying the unfit and natural selection will re-assert itself.
