He is now trying to live by MGTOW’s punishing “monk mode” — a strict vow of celibacy.

Leaning monk isn’t in any shape or form punishing me. It’s simply the path of least resistance. So, I’m functioning and not thinking sad or morose thoughts at all; I’ll take that as a sign that things must be ok. Why should I throw myself into the fire when this lifestyle allows me to avoid the entire horrific mess that a relationship would very likely bring? That kind of entanglement would really be punishing. Give me the quiet life.

Sorry, mate but you can stuff that straight up your ring piece. Don’t tell me I’m confused and bewildered or that I am in pain. I care nothing for your understanding ( of which you plainly have very little ) nor your sympathy.

I make my own decisions, I have my own mind. I take responsibility for my own life and ask nothing from either women or society in general.

This article is patronizing and apologetic. It is written from the outside looking in and as such can never understand the true nature of what it is to be MGTOW.

Of course, not all the facts are in their favour: men still hold 95% of FTSE100 chief-executive jobs (there are more CEOs called John than there are female CEOs), and women make up only 29.4% of British MPs.

There. Right there. So the only retort to the very reasonable arguments he gave in the previous paragraphs is that 1% of the 1% are corporate CEOs and few are femal so somehow that means that millions upon millions of men are somehow privileged.

Did you see what they did there?

Ignoring the fact that those elite men oppress the common man just as much or more than they do women, because there are more of them doing the oppressing than there are women doing the opressing, that means that somehow women in general are more oppressed than men.

We need to start waking up and speaking up when s~~~box “facts” like these are trotted out as an answer to genuine male oppression.

Also I’m not suggesting that all CEOs are oppressors, they’re just exemplary of the ruling and monied class who through thinly veiled corruption of public officials and the legislative process have effected the widespread oppression of the common male.

Watch the media closely when there is discussion of anything gender related and notice how they use the strawmen like the CEO ratio or largely mythical “wage gap” to justify elevating the “plight” of women above that of men.

Think about it: Fortune 500 CEOs represent 0.00000125% of the population, but somehow their actions justify subjecting 50% of the population to higher on the job death rates, systematic bias in family court, premature death by job/stress related illness, etc etc etc (you guys know the rest)

Start calling these people on their bulls~~~. I may be a MGHOW, but I still live in this society and I don’t have to tolerate lies and systematic mistreatment by the other 50% without speaking up.

Once you wake up to this fact..then you will find, peace, happiness and love your own life, projects and life really begins. Unpluging from the feminist brainwashing is critical. No f~~~s given. It just makes sense. Where was mgtow in my youth. You young guys are lucky!
