Massachusetts lawmakers approve bill to impose campus rape training derided as ‘junk science’

A bill that unanimously cleared the Massachusetts Senate this month is drawing concern for promoting a method of investigating campus sexual assault that has been derided as “junk science.”

Written in anticipation of the Trump administration rolling back its predecessor’s guidance on Title IX, which happened in September, S. 2203 is framed as addressing “dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking” on college campuses. It would impose the same low evidence standard, known as preponderance, in that former guidance.

But the bill – currently awaiting action in the House Committee on Ways and Means – goes even further than the rescinded federal guidance in some areas.

The problem is not that the bill pushes “trauma-informed response” in and of itself, but rather which person it designates to use such a method, according to defense lawyer Naomi Shatz, who testified on the subject in the Legislature this spring.

She told The College Fix the bill is “missing most of the same procedural protections” as the guidance rescinded by Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos*.

Investigators ‘should never consider the acts in question to be consensual’

The bill received the support of all 33 Senate Democrats as well as the body’s six Republicans when it passed Nov. 2. According to NewBostonPost, Senate Minority Leader Bruce Tarr said he wanted the vote to be unanimous and “spent a chunk of his time at the microphone complimenting various colleagues’ wardrobe choices.”

Its passage came days after the Boston Globe reported on a “climate of harassment and sexual misconduct” against women in the Massachusetts House going back two decades.

State lawmakers were apparently not dissuaded by the veto of a similar bill the previous month that would have codified Obama administration guidance in another Democrat-dominated state, California.

Gov. Jerry Brown had warned that “thoughtful legal minds have increasingly questioned” whether federal and state regulations and legislation “have also unintentionally resulted in some colleges’ failure to uphold due process for accused students,” particularly nonwhite students.

Apparently, Republicans are “marxists”, too.

Or…it may be due gynocentrism is unrelated with capitalism/marxism, and Republicans / tradcons are supportive of feminazis just like Democrats are…they just need some different buttons to be pushed to activate their “gynocentric mode”.

I still don’t think that DeVos solved the problem…not even closer…MGTOW is the only way.

I don’t get the reference.

However, a little digression: today I parked the GTO (it have no parking sensors, it’s almost a quarter century old!) in a quite narrow (but not so much narrow) parking place after a woman repeatedly tried to park her car and then gave up – her car was…a Fiat 500 😀 the GTO is 181 inches long, while a Fiat 500 is 139 inches long and probably her car even had parking sensors since it was new/almost new 😀

The legislature in the States are rabid to prove to the females that they are pro-woman, they want the votes.

However, it is clear that this is a waste of time and will be knocked down by the Supreme Court. Especially after Trump put’s in his new picks.

The universities got away with it because they weren’t a court of law and the only punishment was explusion and a note on ones record.

Now it will be State law versus Federal law and the Supreme Court.

The right to a fair trial is pretty basic to western society. Not to our feminazi sympathizers on the left and right.

In my book* this is the order of the threats, from the worse to the less worrying:

1st: Tradcon women

3rd: Feminazis, radical feminist kind

4th: Tradcon men – “machos” is the word that Chinweizu use for them

5th: sex-positive “egalitarian” feminists

All those kinds are enemies, but, as you can see, “sluttish sex-positive feminists” are the lesser threat.
Almost all Republican men either fall in the 2nd or 4th kind, almost all Democrat men fall in the 2nd kind.

Yep, women’s only play is to use their vagina as a bargaining tool. That’s why a lot of women don’t like their boyfriends/husbands jerking off or watching porn. By eroding the requirement for EVIDENCE in alleged sexual assault cases, the feminazis are just creating more MGTOW.
