Is it really declining though? Yeah, traditional marriages are decreasing, but common-law marriages are increasing which are really just the same thing.

Shortening the time span (from say 5 to 2 / or 2 to 1) years that qualifies as “common law” doesn’t means it’s increasing. If these men knew they would be paying their non-wives/girlfriends alimony after 12 months, they would change the f~~~ing locks.

So translating her thesis in man speak: men with small wallets bad—men with big wallets good, the end.

But here is the funny part. She talks about how only college educated women are still getting married at the same rate, but then attributes that to college educated men. The underlying assumption is that a college educated woman would never dream of marrying anything but a college educated man. College educated men marry women all the time that don’t have a college education, but a woman would never “marry down”. That’s what real men do. Man Up and marry the hot idiot.

Of course, there used to be more college educated men than women, so there were enough to go around. Now that they’ve turned college into 60% women, there is a shortage of us guys that can keep a job and don’t beat the s~~~ out of our women to keep them in line.

A deep and profound understanding of female psychology and nature has caused me to want what is best for women, which is encouraging all of them to stay single.

Amen Wally. I can prove to you that marriage has always been a bad deal for women. Because when we are young, men sit around and dream about their wedding day while girls are out playing. We do pretend weddings with our dolls and have dairies full of every detail about our dream wedding and who we are marrying. We sit around and write our married names on a piece of paper when we are six years old. We dream of marrying someone who will go out and become a millionaire so we can just go shop and work out all day.
