Marriage And The Nuclear Family Are Outdated

Right now we seeing a vast cultural shift all over the world. Old ways are falling by the wayside “Marriages” and “Traditional family values” are slowly getting outdated. A smaller fraction of men are now successfully dating a larger numbers of women.

These smaller fraction of men are less “Traditional” They were always less traditional. They didn’t have to be, they were attractive, had social and family connections to wealth and status, they had good genetics and luck.

This is what ultimately drives female choice in dating males, males have considerably lower standards because of how we are. Males have a primal inclination to spread their genes as much as possible, females have a primal inclination to find the best genes suitable to have possible children with.

A female bonds more with their own children than their partner, males are more likely to cheat sexually BUT be “loyal” financially to their partners, to the whole group in general, because it is what defines him, where else a woman will cheat because they found someone “better” physically and/or status wise. in the end there is less “loyalty” in women’s mating decisions; whoever is the best wins and it’s ONGOING, only to their children they are loyal to. Take note on the phase “MAN UP!” There is no “WOMAN UP!” Men operate on hierarchical structures more than women. Someone’s the top, someones the bottom, etc.

Which leads me to my next point “Traditional family values”

“Marriage” “The nuclear family” Are all “wish fulfillment” and ideals for “weaker” men who don’t have looks/money/status. These men, and I would say most men if they had the chance would date multiple women and have multiple children while women take of their children and have overall more investment in them than men. It’s why family courts are so biased towards women in custody disputes, because they spend more time with their children than their husbands do. Their husbands usually go out for work, then come home at 6-7pm half exhausted.

The next 10-20 years will be interesting, but one’s thing’s for sure something that takes in account our differences has to replace this crumbling system of relationships. Something more tied to Extended Families, where females are the head and males have more of an independent role in society. Where Children, their care and education are put first and both Men and Women are responsible for them regardless if they are your family members or not.

Where governments take less of a role in relationships: No marriage contracts, no divorce, no alimony, no child support, etc instead a single tax where money in redistributed to retirees and families with children up until the child hits certain age where they can be responsible for themselves and work.

OUTDATED since as least 2001. In New York, adults are now responsible for their children to age 23,(26 If they go to attend college)
So,… in today’s world; having a child at the age of 20 puts the parent in trust for the child’s welfare till he/she is out of college.
Assuming a perfect employment through that time period a parent would be 46 yrs old by the time they have ability to fully concentrate on their own future

Geez, when you look at it that way; it’s no wonder young adults don’t want to start a family!

Was thinking about this the other day. I think people in their 50s now are generally the last generation that really held those traditional values. People in their 40s now started throwing away all those values and writing their own rules and started this downhill slide of society. At least that’s the line in the sand i’ve been able to determine based on personal experience.
