Well, on a positive note regarding this Bulls~~~ article.
We at least have a general consensus that Marriage is bad for ALL participants.
The irony I see is that it is that most men do NOT want to marry, yet an impressive MAJORITY of women still do.
How bad can it be for women if they still demand marriage? ( I know, they actually want the benefits of divorce, or so the trend seems to be).

As for the article – I couldn’t make it any further than 3-4 paragraphs. It was obvious that there wouldn’t be anything of value in it, but I just had to open the door and get a good whiff of the decaying corpses and rancid s~~~ contained within to satisfy my curiosity.

And even on the one dimension they’re supposedly good for—being breadwinners—they frequently tend to screw up and get fired.

And on the one dimension that women are supposedly good for—being loving, loyal wives, mothers, homemakers—they frequently tend to break it up and then insist that they’re given everything for being s~~~ty wives.

Difference between men and women is that men don’t expect to be PAID after being s~~~ty in the one dimension they’re supposedly good for.

But for all that I do understand where this woman is coming from—no, I don’t agree with her, f~~~ no. I mean to say that, given her premises, and her character, it makes perfect sense why she’d think that way (kind of like how, in Nabokov’s Lolita, I can understand why Humbert Humbert, given who he is, and his premises, likes to touch little girls).

The premise here, the starting point of reasoning—and note this down, fellas—is that WOMEN CAN DO NO WRONG. Once this premise is accepted, her entire argument makes sense.

And once you understand, start to see, that this is the premise for a lot of people, for both men and women alike, it’s quite horrifying.
