@Zone: You’re right man. I do imbibe as good BBQ is very much in the top 3 of Southern cuisines and one of my favorites too. Plus it does taste pretty damn good when done by a master. Just like smoking a cigarette once every three months is not going to hurt you, but 4 packs a day will lead to problems. Moderation in all things is how I roll. Human bodies can handle low levels of most toxins quite well though ingested Plutonium is a notable exception.

There is nothing like a pulled pork sandwich made from pork that has been slow cooked at low heat for 16 hours by a master of the art. I trade my eggs with one BBQ master for 1 dozen bug fed for 1.5 lbs of killer smoked butt. My Father used to make the best smoked Mullet on Earth too. Nothing starts up regional bickering like our varying BBQ styles. Cue a Texas Brother to challenge the pork eating Easterners!

That groveling Mangina is one of the most pathetic ones I’ve ever seen. Yes, it killed me to read it too as others have mentioned, but I’ll take any bullet to get material to mock Manginas. BBQ/Grilling is one of the few remaining manly things we have left now it’s being attacked. That p~~~es me off to no end.

I very much agree! I will admit to being a health nut, but I’m still going to die anyway so yeah I do enjoy life a little. I even smoke a cigarette every few months. In fact, I’m firing up my Weber for dinner tonight in honor of this thread and that Mangina.

@DukeToga: You’re right, but them’s fightin’ words down South if you’re in the wrong place. There is Korean BBQ too plus I think the Aussies do it too.

I just scored a nice pack of juicy chicken thighs for the Weber. I love grilled chicken. I’m not feeling any guilt either so I must be a misogynist. I’m being anti-social today due to some business related stresses that cropped up yesterday. I’m grilling alone.
