They get you with “legal paternity” instead of “biological paternity”.

Biological paternity: You are the child’s biological father.
Legal paternity: You are legally recognized as the child’s father.

You are married to the child’s mother at the time of birth or conception,
You sign the birth certificate (even if you know you are not the biological father), or
Complete an acknowledgement of paternity form.
Basically, if you are married to the child’s mother, you are often on the hook.
After you acknowledge paternity, you may only have a limited amount of time to contest or dispute paternity. Many states have a two-year time limit. If you are ever in this situation, get a family law attorney.

Mandatory paternity testing is no way near on the political agenda but men should be campaigning to get it put there.

It is painless, non invasive and low cost and you can make the men pay if you like for all I care, (they are going to get used to paying pretty soon anyway.) It does not harm pumpkins in any way, it just stops lying ones getting what they do not deserve. There is a big difference between harm and not getting away with a fraud.

Men need to band together and demand this simple thing as a right -to know your own children.

Like it or not, we do not have a government that is interested or a Business of our medical care that is going to do this. FIrst, women run all the small jobs of this. That’s the first problem. And as you know, just like in our own government Agencies, they are infiltrated with people who have their own goals. Not to follow the will of the people who elected them to serve.

Actual statistics are that around 18% to 28% of all children are being supported by men who are not their biological fathers but think that they are. In other words: his wife not only cheated…but cheated a lot and got knocked up and then convinced the poor schmuck that the kid was his.

The custodial parent should be paying 100% of the child’s support needs for the duration that parent is in custody. Problem solved.
