Sky-O has this one pretty much figured out.

Pumpkin had a Chad or, more likely, Chads on the side for years. She probably had a Chad on the ship too or was at least looking for one.

Beta had booked everyone on an anniversary cruise to “save the marriage”. When he first demanded then pleaded she stop cheating, she clued him in on how divorce really goes down and laughed at his naivete. The choice she gave him was to either accept her cheating or lose half of everything plus his three daughters.

She stood there laughing through the whole episode, Beta finally snapped, and it was all over in a New York second. Imagine her shock when she saw Beta finally act like a man the instant before he killed her.

They were from Utah too, meaning the odds are they’re Mormons. If he’d pushed for a divorce, that would cause all sorts of additional problems for him.

The best part of the article was the last paragraph. The ship was hosting a “murder mystery” themed dinner at the same time Beta was killing Pumpkin. When the ship announced there had been a murder, many thought it was part of the entertainment.

I’m brutal when a story like this hits close to the Sky perimeter.

I’m still recovering from texts and a call last week from one of my ex-pumpkins that is with a beta she secured awhile back after we were done.

So my philosophy is:

That loud argument in the cabin in the presence of the children probably was nothing new to the family. It was business as usual or else the parents would have calmed down and taken the dispute elsewhere after the kids had gone to sleep. That, at least, would be the instinct of a normal mother and good woman, especially in closed quarters on a cruise ship, for goodness sake. Or he would have left to go get a drink or some air.

The dead wife probably had pushed every button in the guy throughout the marriage to the point that it went nuclear in that cabin, with no regard for the kids. Now the three daughters have a dead mother and a father who never will get out of jail. For what reason that could justify it?
