I was in a grocery store a few years ago, and a man saw me with my hands full and pushed his cart to me “You need this more than me.” Of course I was shocked and immediately refused. He insisted and walked away towards the front of the store to get another. I was literally overwhelmed because even though a small thing, the type that I have done for people before, it had been years since anyone had offered any kindness at all.
I probably would have held his hand if he stuck around, though no homo… 🙂

Of course the woman is p~~~ed that a man got some kindness.
