Don’t let these skanks stop your ability to love. If you do, they have won.

Have the courage to love. You can love your neighbour, your friends, your family, strangers. I don’t mean you’re a nice doormat for everyone, but you as a man have the power and strength do love the people you deem worthy of it.

This is part of NFG. F~~~ obligations, f~~~ skanks. F~~~ expectations of a return. I love and help the people I want to. I do it because it helps my soul and makes me a better man. You will notice that quality people start competing for your time/love.

Jesus is the best role model in this regard. He was endless love but he was powerful, and not just because he’s God’s son.

I have the ability to love, like you, i choose wisely who to love. For me it’s close family, because they’ve proven to be loyal to me as well.

Yes it is indeed and I am doing plenty for myself.

If you do, they have won.

What do they win? Because whatever it is they won the whole thing!

I can’t love, that ability has fled me, I stand alone running on 100% logic autopilot. Love has no bearings on my moral compass, I tore that connection loose when I reformed my mind….

Love with your mind and your eyes wide open.

Thanks for that inadvertent answer! My eyes see a loveless world filled with hatred and strife, maybe that’s why I can’t love?

My heart is protected like a porcupine of daggers that were stuck in it. Now there’s no place left to stab, all the voids are filled with daggers past…

They make you change who you are. But you are a man and change your true self for no one.

Love with your mind and your eyes wide open.

    Perfectly put.

The men of old once boasted there’s no rest for the wicked.

Now we can honestly say there’s no rest for the righteous…

    What is “Love” anyways ?

Ask 10 different people, and you will get different answers.

The term is probably the most overused, and abused term in the English language.

The term has very little meaning. “I Love my NEW Shoes !!” , “I Love my New Hair Color”, “I Love my New Dildo”, “Honey, I Love You ”

They ALL Mean about the SAME.

The capacity to love and have empathy are very important for health and spiritual development.

I agree with OP. Christ and his teachings show a tremendous capacity to love. This is so important to cultivate.

I understand how years of hurt and suffering due to women can seemingly cloud our ability to love. But it is there. Like the sun. Even when there is the darkest storm in the sky. And it seems like the sun is nowhere in sight. It is always there.

We can feel this when we see a homeless person. Or someone who is in need of help. Towards a pet or animal. Or a child who is pure and has not lost that sense of wonder.

I remember seeing a cardiologist speak about a study where people who had heart problems thought of someone or something they loved. And right away all of their biology would sync up and be harmonious.

It is free medicine. Zero side effects. Giving or helping others has a healing effect as well. These are all forms of love.

Sorry sucker, nothing grows in the alkali pit of society we have today!

The sucker is the person who allows his heart and soul to die. To become hallow and empty. Ending up in nihilistic hell.

It’s a choice. Harmony and balance are universal forces. When we step away from those things we suffer.

A person barren and stripped of any capacity to love is the walking dead.

Go to a pet store or shelter and play with some puppies. Spend some time around kids. They can rekindle our hope for humanity. Children are proof that good exists. And that there is always hope.

There will always be love in people’s hearts and souls. Even if many lose touch with that part of themselves. And even that is not lost. Just buried. Suppressed.

It’s there. Just need to reconnect with it.
