it only goes backwards when they rely on that person for resources or protection

when women don’t need her man/husband for resources or protection, the love stops.

I agree with you, with Children however it’s difficult, i have friends having a much better relationship with they children as they ever had with the women they are or were engaged with, even after a divorce.
Most of them (more grown ups) even are with the father instead of the mother, even without being wealthy but felt more cared about.

This comes down to some things like women who just don’t care about their children even if media outlets etc. want us to think just females can take proper care of children and men could never do that nearly as good as women can.

Sadly i do not have children even if i would like to have them, but from what i see around me, the loves comes back but does not needs (most of the time) to travel back through the female.
