I hope for your sake that estuary around you doesn’t become an inland sea! It looks like a perfect inland waterway to back up severely with a low pressure storm surge. When I built my house and garage I put the footings within inches of the water table in case of catastrophic flooding and erosion like what happened in VT.

I can easily imagine trees backing up against the foundation in a flood like Irene in VT.

I hope you have cans of Sterno with water and MRE, you may want to consider towing a supply kayak behind you in case you get hit by a nasty direct hit Hurricane.

I saw a documentary about a family that drifted on the remnants of their house across Narragansett in the Hurricane of 1938. Whole fields, farms, mills and their dams were washed away, the remnants can still be seen in the Ware river. Our lake has places we’ve measured that are 15 feet deep with silt from that flood.

Oh, we’d be f~~~ed as a whole county except for the city proper which was built on the higher land. My property sits on a sand hill that supposedly will not flood in a Cat 5 storm surge. An good stiff easterly wind will add almost a foot to our high tide though. It’s those snapping pine trees I really worry about.

I was over in Mount Pleasant, SC a couple of years ago. You can still see from the lack of tall trees where Hugo, a Cat 3, tore through back in 1989. I remember David as a boy. It was a near mere Cat 2 upon landfall. I’ll never sit through another one. We’re the western most point on the East coast so that does help reduce our Hurricane frequency as they are usually curving out to sea at this latitude. Charleston gets hit more often than we do. Wilmington, NC gets pummeled.

Massachusetts is under the gun from both Hurricanes and Winter Nor’easters.

Obama golfs. Hillary rests. And when Trump goes to Louisiana all the media/press can do is attack him for trying to help the flood victims. 30,000 people and counting.

FEMA only has 1100 people there. That is 29 people per FEMA agent. That is not enough.

The media/press does not understand how close to the edge they are. With each passing day the media/press makes the themselves more irrelevant by ignoring the issues with Clinton, ignoring what Trump says, and attacking Trump’s character.

Should the media/press attack Trump for any flood relief measures he offers the people. Trump can point out that he came down here, while Obama golfed and Hillary rested, the media/press does not want to help the American people. The media/press wants American people to suffer.

That will be a major scandal for the media/press.

Those in the media/press forgot so many rules concerning reporting. The first was reporting the true. The second stick to the facts. The fourth is try not to be bias towards the subject matter. And do not let yourself become the story. The media/press have broken all three of these rules. And it is showing in them losing viewership across the board.

In other words, the media/press have gone full retard.

Trump has used social media, which is also conspiring against him, to step around the media/press and it is highly p~~~ing off the media/press and the handlers of the media/press.

The elitists only hold all the cards on paper. Literally. With having the federal reserve print money and given to the elitists by the tens of trillions, at least. The elitists have fallen into a liquidity trap.

While the dollars were printed and given, the value of assets of the world which can be invested has stayed the same. Around $70 trillion.

The elitists now hold a lot of paper wealth in U.S. dollars they cannot get rid of anything. No other nations is going to do a currency exchange at this levels. If they try to go their Special Drawing Rights in the World Bank, it will collapse their whole carefully created scheme.

I tell this to people all of the time. Yes, the elites have great wealth and powerful allies. Hillary is not the one you should worry about. It is the unknown VP candidate of Hillary’s Tim Kaine.

Given Hillary’s health problem, she is just a stalking horse for Tim Kaine. If they rig the election and she makes it to the White House, she will soon be replaced with Tim Kaine over health reasons.

And Tim Kaine is a completely loyalist to the one percent. The plan is so apparent. Sneak him into the White House and have him become “Mister Austerity of America” like in the nations of Europe.
