A planned voyage from Hawaii to Tahiti aboard a small sailboat didn’t start off well for two Honolulu women.
One of their cellphones washed overboard and sank into the sea already on the first day of the excursion.
Things got significantly worse for the two women – who have since been identified by the Navy as Jennifer Appel and Tasha Fuiava, of Honolulu.
In May, about a month into their trip, treacherous weather conditions caused their engine to lose power, but the pair believed they could still reach Tahiti using their sails.
Their intended destination, Tahiti, was thousands of miles off course.Everything they could have done wrong, they did…what a shock!
Lol. Anyone surprised that they both look like great potential dike candidates?

Two dikes lost at sea?
Who would’ve thought?
Fuck bitches... literally and metaphorically
So…Tahiti is like south of Hawaii…but they were rescued near the sea of Japan…what the serious f~~~???
I can understand being lost at sea for 5 months if they were in that No-Man’s-Zone between Easter island, South America and Antarctica. But, in the area they had to sail through to end up Southeast of the Sea Of Japan there are literally thousands of islands and all kinds of shipping lanes. I mean, the Pacific Ocean is big…but it’s not THAT big. They would have to actively tried to avoid seeing any one or anything for that long.
…or THE LEVEL OF INCOMPETENCE IS OVER 9000!!!
Everything they could have done wrong, they did…what a shock!
Man I saw that s~~~ and was just f~~~ing amazed. While I give them credit for being smart enough to realize they are dumb enough to need a years supply of food and water purifier….
Holy f~~~ing s~~~ I can’t believe how retarded these idiots were.
1. They had a sailboat and don’t know how to f~~~ing sail. They literally relied on the f~~~ing motor, in which case, didn’t think to bring a spare motor if they are going to not know how to sail a f~~~ing sloop they don’t know how to use.
2. They had tons of food but apparently can’t also spare room for a $20 book on how the basics of how to sail and navigation. You know, learn something like how to sail against headwinds or to find your f~~~ing navigation.
3. Can’t bother to let people know their manifest and when they should return or arrive during the trip so if something happens people know where to look.
4. Rich enough for a sailboat they don’t know how to sail and a years supply worth of food, but not rich enough to afford a satellite phone.
I would not be surprised if they could have made it to Japan weeks earlier if they just left the sail open to catch some f~~~ing wind. Those bitches better thank the f~~~ing patriarchy for finding them because they can bet sure as f~~~ no woman was going to rescue them.
I am goddamn sad darwinism didn’t claim two stupid idiots this time.
Lmao they lost their cellphone their only means of communication on the very first f~~~ing day. They don’t know how to sail or navigate yet thought it was a good idea to keep going after the motor crapped out lol for f~~~s sakes
Please God smite the wicked now
That is a sailboat. No excuses. Morons with boats.
If they went in the westerly passage then keep the sun at their backs. If easterly keep the sunrise in your face.
The boat should do 100 miles per day under sail. The sails looked like they were in OK shape.
Doesn’t look like they lost any weight as there were enough twinkies to last them a year.

#icethemout; Remember Thomas Ball. He died for your children.
Has anyone known any women that knew anything about sailing?
