I had exactly the same thought yesterday, when I saw a small plane fly over head pulling a banner “Happy Birthday Girlsname – – And will you marry me “

The stunts some men will perform. Women just show up, sit there with their with arms folded and go “OMG!! YES!!!”

And then she slowly hates him because that’s apex of it. It’s all down hill from there. He lifts the expectation so high in the proposal you get a nose bleed just watching it.

I don’t know. I read it a bit differently. I think the guy wants attention. It was obviously planned and staged for the TV camera or else he wouldn’t have been carrying that note with him.

Who knows. Maybe she’s rich and has been supporting his low income athletic lifestyle, and he’s just keeping her on the hook with that stunt. He’s great for her social media status, that’s for sure.

And he may not care a bit that she is a run around Sue, if she is, because he has plenty of chic groupies on the side to keep him satisfied while all the else he does is sleep, eat, and train. Could be just a mutually beneficial business deal for as long as it will last.

Sorry mate, but I don’t see any advantage or mutual benefit here. He is going to go through the s~~~ vortex irrespective of everything you mentioned. It won’t be worth it for him in the end.

Only if he follows though with marrying her, Gambit. Then I am 100% on board with you. I just doubt that is his plan instead of this being a stunt. It looks like a stunt to me.
