A co worker of mine is possibly the angriest man ive ever met, and I only recently learnt why.

He is 31 and has a nine year old son by a woman he had a ONS with. For his 10 minutes of fun he has been paying £400 per month child support for the last nine years. He also has his son on alternate weekends meaning that he loses £800 in wages per four week pay cycle – we get paid double money for weekends.

About six months ago he leased a brand new Audi TT for £400 per month because he ‘wanted something to show for all his hard work’. Even this has bit him on the ass. The ONS mother of his child has took him to court for more child support cash because ‘the car he drives proves he can afford it’ – she won and now gets an extra £100 per month.

He can’t get out of the car lease for another 12 months so has had to take out a loan to cover all his expense.

Here is the cherry on the cake – his 23 year old girlfriend who he started seeing about the same time he got the Audi has just informed him she is pregnant. The fun never stops for the poor bastard!

I’ve tried for years coaching young guys on “what comes next” if they take the plunge…they think they know better. Then I get a phone call years later telling me I was right…I hate being right. I walked away from Marriage, Society, The legal system, Family, Women and children as they are all legal liabilities and ones you can’t win. Yes, it gets lonely-sometimes but balance this against living in hell for 20-30 years and believe me it’s the better option.

Nine years ago there was enough information out there about women’s behaviour and how they trap men. He should have known better. I’m thinking that he didn’t even wear a condom. That’s shear idiocy on a ONS.

I know if sounds f~~~ed up but he can afford to pay it. He probably makes around 3k per four weeks before tax so £500 per month is doable but combined with his leased car, rent, bills, drugs he is getting himself into financial trouble.

It’s so true that many young guys or even some guys in general are beyond help and have no idea what so ever of what they are getting themselves into with these women.

Take a young guy i’m currently working with, he’s 26 just had a kid, bought a house, leases his work van and BMW car for the missus. He says he wants to get a BMW X5 next. I tried to adivse him that, maybe this isn’t the best use of his hard earned. However lets face it without the X5 he’s already f~~~ed.

I keep my opinions to myself on him and having kids and co-habiting. Then the little s~~~ starts to tell me how i should live and how i’m a sad case for not wanting to shackle myself up.

These kids know nothing, want everything but don’t want to work for it and in his case has never been through a recession where he’s had to work for less than half the pay he currently gets. We both work in construction and when the next recession comes he will know what it is to get shafted. Even though he can be a horrible little f~~~er to me, i wouldn’t want to see him lose it all and i take the abuse as i know better. Unlike him.

Lastly i can’t believe how stupid the guy in your story is, seriously what is wrong with these guys!

The only form of slavery left in the US is slavery due to the debt of child support. Debt slavery is one of the oldest forms of slavery.

That’s why when they do ratings of slave nations the U.S. get’s an also ran 3rd place with regard to current slavery practices.
