Hey guys, as usual, many ongoing thanks for all the advice I receive here. Let me make this brief:

I never put it in my introduction, but I am in my late 30’s, tall, athletic, attractive (at least thats what all the c~~~s say), carry myself very well, have excellent communication skills, a way with words, and a sharp, ascerbic sense of humor.

…..yet, i feel like my life has never taken off. I literally feel like i have wasted my entire life. I feel like i have never really accomplished anything of value, either for myself or for other people. I feel like i am just alive, not living, and i have been this way my whole life.

One side of my family was very dysfunctional growing up, and has a lot of mental health issues with depression (although no substance abuse), anxiety, and lack of drive. I feel that this has affected me greatly. I also have developed some health issues over the years (mainly IBS) that have taken so much of the joy out of life.

So, here is my open request: Aside from health, which i admit i havent been the greatest at maintaining, but have been working on more in the last few years, i REALLY need some sort of mentor. My father was almost non-existent growing up, and i have never had a real man to look up to and to look to for advice and encouragement. Other guy friends are great, etc, but i just dont get the type of drive and encouragement, and most of all, ACCOUNTABILITY that i need from them.

…could someone help in this area? I of course would not have any issue with payment, through PayPal, etc….im thinking phone or Skype meetings daily, weekly, whatever you would need to get to know me and me you of course. If you are in NA i could even fly to you on say a semi monthly basis to share my progress, do a leisure activity together, etc. I need a kickass bro in my life that can help me f~~~ s~~~ up.

My closest female friend (who i have known since 16), told me in my darkest moments…”You could have it ALL, seriously, you have the looks, the attitude, the talent, you just need to grab it”….she is a PhD in Psychology, so yeah. I know she is a c~~~, but she is the best c~~~ i have ever known, so i give her leeway and trust her judgement. Hopefully i dont get too much hate for that.

Anyway, who wants to help this guy take the next massive step in his life? “MGTOW Mentors”, anyone? (KM, you heard it here first if the idea takes off!)

    uhhh

    whut?

The whole point of MGTOW is the GTOW

We would rather watch you go your own way rather than go with you in a particular direction.

If you would like to pay me to cheer you on, I charge $1 the first day, $2 the second and each successive day, my rate doubles. I offer 3, 5 and 7 year contracts.

Or you could take up some really manly hobbies, like building off road vehicles, diesel ship engine repair, gunsmithing, building implosion specialist, Apple orchard farmer. Do something you like, and people will find you.

    ah, dude..
i don’t think you need a life coach so much,
just the company of the good men you will find here.
i think you are sincere which is a huge plus.
sometimes you just have to be by yourself and talk.
    ask yourself some questions…
    and then be completely honest.
    .
    soul searching..
    and my friend,
at 30 you are very young..
    you haven’t wasted your life..
    youv’e survived this far.
    that alone is an accomplishment!

    Fathers are important……

Simple teachings last a lifetime. As a child I told my father I was bored. The was the last time I was ever bored . I cut all the neighbors lawn for 3 days. Last time I was bored.

You have to find the thing you want or need. I never picked my career but it Picked me. When i do something its all or nothing. You need to push when you can’t, Don’t want to. Keep going.

Live your life like you only get one chance.

    Hey Neon_Phoenix,

One of the reasons I joined was to mentor. I choose to do it anonymously on this site. I find that I have to stay general because there isn’t anyway to understand everything from a post.

I find that the majority of young guys I meet in real life didn’t have a male role model or father influence. For me this is foreign.

I mentor young coworkers and have the advantage of knowing them well enough to judge path.

If you will post scenarios as they occur I’m sure the older sages will advise.

    Peace brothers

I agree, you don’t need a mentor. Just be accountable to yourself.

I’ll give you some free advice, which any ‘life-coach’ will give you. Break down your goals into steps and stick to them.

Get in shape = gym every day.
Get a great job = get the required degree & send out applications everyday.
    etc. etc.

If it is just a matter of having someone to talk to, I’m happy to help. Send me a PM if interested.
