So I’ve been put into a situation much like that of a cornered animal. I’m now being required to find new work in less than a month. Is this even possible in this day and age? Any suggestions other than the common, just start at a fast food place, they’ll hire you practically overnight.

I depends on where you live and what you have done before. If you are really hurting suck it up and go to an employment agency, they are usually really good as they have tons of stuff lined up.

Agencies usually have work with immediate start for unpopular hour’s such as night shifts in warehouses. Be aware if a job is too easy to get it’s because no one will stay long.

BTW, I was wondering why you’ve been a member since 2015, but this is your first post? Did you change your mind and then come back? Just interested in what broke such a long period of silence, that’s all.

I’ve posted here and there, so I haven’t been completely silent. I live in NE KS, close to the city. I have an aweful work history, not staying at companies very long. I’ve worked a lot of different jobs; fast food, retail, warehouse, auto sales(oil rip off place). As far as relations~~~s, I’m single, but I live with narcissistic parents that are really going off the deep end right now. If I don’t find gainfull enployment by May 31st, they will “cut off” my internet. It’s BS! As you all know even adult children have to put up with s~~~ tests from either gender.

Have you thought of this…..if they cut off your internet, then how on earth can you find a job? Them trying to teach you a lesson will backfire. I am having a lot of issues with my father because I am following my passion in Electronics Engineering, after quitting my former career as a Mining Engineer. Financially I am doing well but I guess enough is never enough. When you try to please people, it is a never ending barrage of issues. Even if we are trillionaires, there will always be issues people see in us.
