Has anyone else noticed how liberals actually do the things they accuse conservatives of? and how the media goes right along with it? Have you ever seen the corporate media cover an antifa rally with anything like the venom they spit at the Tea Party?

And speaking of antifa, I’m assuming them calling themselves “anti-fascist” is just another example of “hipster irony”.

Trump has enough enemies for sure. The secret service has their hands full. I can’t believe he travels as much as he does, and there hasn’t been a serious attempt on his life yet. If the unthinkable were to happen at least we have VP Pence to step in, he seems like a respectable man. I’d hate to see anything happen to President Trump. He has been the best US President in my lifetime.

I fully expect the 2020 election will resemble the civil war that gripped Northern Ireland in the 70’s. Assassinations, car bombings, gun fighting in the street, martial law imposed, detentions without trial. The left will resort to extreme violence to stop Trumps reelection. The right will respond.

I know that a whole bunch of tinfoil hat conspiracy theorists don’t have the first clue what the deep state actually is. Or how it operates. But that doesn’t prevent them from using the term.

The deep state didn’t cause 9/11. It just didn’t put any effort into preventing such an attack up front, and then capitalized on it afterwards to push its agenda.

All depends on what you classify “Deep State” as I suppose. I say it can be seen by what agenda keeps moving forward despite what President after President says he is going to do while on the campaign trail. The last three Presidential elections the “Move away from Mid East conflict” candidate has won, with no such progress made on said front once in office. Trump blamed much of the mess over there on Clinton/Obama and until very recently kept saying we were going to pull out of Syria, nothing doing on that front. Just as Obama did not move back from the mess over there as he said he would while on the campaign trail as well, and pretended to be cleaning up Bush’s mess despite escalating it. And Bush? Just continuing the Clinton administration sanctions on Iraq which killed a half a million children, complete with his Secretary of State Albright on 60 minutes saying it was worth it… All proven later to be based on lies and fabrications.

To me this is clearly the most obvious of “Deep State” agenda. Call it PNAC/Israeli Neocon agenda continuing to be pushed through despite what President after President says…

I don’t see what is “Tin Foil” about any of these facts, it is all plain as day, and will certainly happen again next election cycle as well as somebody other than Presidents and the people who elect them is driving the bus on this front, hence the term “Deep State” fitting very well here, in fact I can find no better fit for the term outside this linear agenda continuing all the way back to shortly after 9/11 per General Wesley Clark’s admission in 2007, an admission made well before Libya, Syria, and our push for Iran as well of late.

It’s not a matter of classification. It’s a matter of what it actually is.

The deep state is not a single entity. It does not have a single, cohesive agenda. It’s a whole lot of more or less corrupt independent actors within the government and corporations looking after their own individual interests at the expense of all else running largely on political and bureaucratic inertia. Each one of those individual deep state cells knows how vulnerable it is to an armed populace, as well as all the other deep state cells, so collectively they are all for disarmament, but there’s no centralized power within the deep state specifically enforcing that policy.

tl;dr: People portray the deep state as an octopus, but it isn’t that sort of animal. It should be portrayed as a jellyfish.
