“She also admitted that after withdrawal the UK will have less access to EU markets, will be affected by the European Court’s judgments and must commit to staying in step with some Brussels rules. ”

The article is referring to Teresa May.

What the actual fcuk -so after we leave thd EU we must commit to some of their rules and the judgement of their courts.

No we f~~~ing musn’t we must leave and run our own country.

Yes and the biggest sycophant of all is our Prime Minister and government.

All big daddy governments (EU) spank what they believe to be their “children” (“GB”)…

Trump was criticized when he got us out of the Trans-Pacific trade deal. The other countries just got together and came up with their own trade deal. That doesn’t keep us out of Pacific markets. It gives us the opportunity to negotiate a better trade deal with the current trade conglomeration that’s in place now. Wouldn’t the U.K. be in a stronger position if it could negotiate with the E.U. as a sovereign nation?

The Uk has a trade defecit with the EU of 89 billion so we have the whip hand in the negotiation anyway.

Watch any British road and count how many cars are German.

The problem with the EU is it is apolitical union aimed at federalistaion as is proven in various secret documents.

Juncker is now going to start a trade war with the USA.

Good! I’m tired of imports! We can do everything in house! Including abandoning all our military bases and put the army to work in the American Cleanup and Restoration Corps!

We need a f~~~ing army to clean up all these abandon mills and build new ones!

Some fools lie and claim that import tariffs are “unAmerican”. The Founding Fathers originally envisioned their government would be funded by import tariffs.

Import tariffs are more American than apple pie.

Tariffs of 35% as he talked about will result in a penalty from the WTO.

America need China far more than China needs America.

Years and years ago China was reverse engineering everything but today has the technology and everything it needs.

If you take just one industry China are estimated to buy over 6,000 planes from Boeing in the next 20 years.

Other markets such as India are far more interesting to China than the USA.

The people who will be hit worst are those buying cheap imported goods at Walmart.

Also take into account that China has foreign currency reserves of around 3 trillion.

The Yuan Renminbi will eventually take over from the dollar.

If anyone is hoping for a trade war with China whilst you chant USA,USA,USA then think again.

We welcome the sensible approach the Prime Minister set out in her speech today.

Theresa May was right to reaffirm her commitment to respecting the result of the referendum and to take back control of our borders, laws and money.

Worryingly, a number of her five measures of success are dependent on the EU negotiating in a statesmanlike, reasonable manner during negotiations, yet it has done everything in its power to try to bully the UK and prolong and obstruct Brexit negotiations.

It is the task of the Prime Minister to make Brexit a success irrespective of the EU. The Government should work to secure a Canada-style deal – which the EU have confirmed is available to us – immediately. This removes the need for any transition or implementation period. The Government must also make preparations to move to a WTO rule agreement with the EU in the event that Brussels tries to block a Canada-style deal.

In any event, the UK should prepare to implement business friendly, economy boosting measures as soon as we leave the EU in March 2019, making best use of our new economic freedoms. This will give businesses and the public reassurance that Britain is ready to make Brexit a success from day one.

Meanwhile this week, the panicked Remainers were out in full swing, using their bullying and threatening tactics to try and destroy Brexit. The latest duo of Major and Blair, co-ordinated by the anti-Brexit Open Britain campaign, used their influential platforms to drum up support for a Brexit u-turn, with Blair calling for the British public to ‘undo’ their ‘historic mistake’. Former Prime Ministers who no longer believe in our great nation should not engage themselves in a desperate last ditch attempt to defy the largest democratic mandate ever in the UK.

In other news, the UK economy keeps growing from strength to strength. Toyota announced it will be building the next generation of Auris at its plant in Derbyshire, Dyson is advertising for 300 new employees to assist the completion of its first electric car by 2020 as the company celebrates a £801 million profit from Asian markets, while tech firm ARM Holdings increased their staff numbers by 25 per cent.

Finally, one of the freedoms we can embrace post-Brexit is the availability to sell and buy champagne in pint sized bottles – something Brussels deemed unacceptable in 1973, but described by Churchill as the “ideal size”. Cheers!

    Kind regards,

    Richard Tice & John Longworth

Tariffs of 35% as he talked about will result in a penalty from the WTO.

President Trump will respond by using such a move by the World Trade Organization (WTO) to show how the WTO favors China and the rest of the world to exploit the wealth of the U.S. population.

In response, President Trump will add more tariffs and reciprocal taxes on China and other nations.

Also, this would lead to more support of the U.S. pulling out of the WTO.

No. America does not need China.

May is a Bilderberg stooge, just like the rest.

Right now, her job is to keep people thinking that Brexit will happen and by so doing ensure that there is no UKIP revival.

When you look into Henry Bolton’s background it becomes obvious that he is a state asset.

    America does not need China.

If the US erects tariffs, then China can look West. In fact, it is already doing so with the Silk Road scheme.

Where is the US going to look? US heavy industry has virtually ceased to exist. They have a strategic oil reserve in case of war, but that’s about it.

China is also now the biggest foreign creditor, so that’s potentially the currency in the can.

No. America does not need China.

Fastest growing markets for product produced in China are Africa, Latin America and India.

151 million Iphones purchased in China in 2015. Although that’s now being threatened by Samsung and local Chinese manufacturers.

A collapse of the World Trade Organisation would only lead to higher tarriffs against America.

If you take just one industry China are estimated to buy over 6,000 planes from Boeing in the next 20 years.

Airbus are building factory in China so they could quite easily buy $1trillion dollars of planes from airbus rather than boeing.

The list of reasons why American business would be damaged catastrophically by a trade war with China go on and on.

It would be a relatively long process but extreme damage would be done to the American economy.

Any damage to the Chinese economy would by comparison be minimal.

Also take into account that China has foreign currency reserves of around 3 trillion.

China is now the biggest foreign creditor.

In a system that benefits the wealthy and screws over everyone else.

US heavy industry has virtually ceased to exist and the country is dependant on imports.

And tariffs and trade wars are how to force industry back into the U.S.

The have a strategic oil reserve in case of war, but that’s about it.

It is actually food that is the weakness for China.

At the moment, China imports a lot of the oil and natural gas it needs from Russia.

This is how Russia has avoided China’s wrath. But, China is now making inroads into the middle east. Russia is trying to cut them off at the pass by trying to create an OPEC with Russia in charge that China would have to work with, but that plan might not work.

    Not good.

    For whom?

Now matter how a trade war plays out, the act of a trade war destroys the globalist status quo.

Possibly eventually out of necessity but not until after there has been a devastating depression and prices skyrocket in Walmart.

a trade war destroys the globalist status quo.

Not really it’s just another form of war between fake manufactured enemies to keep the people enslaved-if a few million die due to lack of food they don’t care.

Those snap cards (foodstamps) are not going to be enough anymore, collapse of the welfare state.

Actually, this is one of the few times it is not “fake enemies”. This is about economic survival for the American people against those whom are profiting off of the misery of the American people. That is not “fake”.

Tariffs have the potential and have in the past done a lot of damage to the home economy.

Initially tariffs result in higher prices and lower consumer spending.

Longer term tariffs result in decreased efficiency, lower quality and allows companies that would otherwise not survive in a more competitive market to stay open.

What can also happen is the emergence of substitute products that reduce the profits of those companies and jobs one was trying to protect.
