The MSM wanted texans to act like the assholes during Katrina. I vividly remember individauls shooting at rescue choppers. Reports of massive rapine in the New Orleans stadium.

The MSM has ignored the effect of MLK being murdered for speaking truth.

It’s easy to admire Martin Luther King jr. It’s hard for the MSM to understand why he took those risks. Also why his murder had a palpable impact on so many noble hearted people.

The MSM is always looking for regular folks to repeat the Katrina horror. It doesn’t happen, over and over again.

From what I’ve observed and believe. Everyday Americans have listened to what MLK said. The MSM will not accept that their words meen less and less.

Their response is to spew more and more lies. The people that comprehend truth have stopped listening to them. Then those people put their own sweat and blood on the line, to rescue their neighbors. The MSM is confounded “how can this happen, we’re the beacons of truth and light. The peasants aren’t getting our memos anymore, but they’re exceeding the measure of mercy we told them they’re capable of.”

Personally, I don’t really feel that it should be entirely up to the mayor to tell people to evacuate or not. Isn’t that part of having your own personal freedom? From what I could tell, it’s not like all the info the mayor had was readily available to everyone. I certainly didn’t make my decision to say or go based on what the mayor said. I don’t know anybody who did.

I would much rather people admit they made the wrong decision to evacuate or not. And there isn’t anything wrong with that. Most couldn’t really know for sure what was the best choice, and even then, mistakes happen.

The last time an evactuation was ordered it whent wrong Something like a hundred people died. Mostly in car wrecks in a state of panic.
Instead of leaving in assined teired groups, they paniced and all left at once.
People drowned in their cars.

I agree with you @narwhal, but their is always someone who is gonna feel more should’ve been done. In the end, I’m alive and well.
