I thought this was funny. We didn’t have “bleed-in’s” when I was in school.

“University of Florida students held a “bleed-in” demonstration Tuesday, going around campus with fake blood on their pants to protest the lack of free menstrual products.”

“On January 15, a student government committee rejected a proposal to provide free menstrual products to female students through the mandatory Activity and Service Fee, expressing concerns about applying mandatory fees paid by all students towards “funding that would only benefit the female half of the UF student body.”

Tampons and pads are PRODUCTS. Therefor there is a charge. When i want a product, i expect to pay for it. What don’t they understand ? How about this, my tax dollars will go to fund menstruation products, when womens tax dollars go to fund building new shelters for abused men.
