I’m watching the movie right now. It was made in 1979, almost 40 years ago. If you haven’t seen it, it’s a movie with Meryl Streep and Dustin Hoffman, where she walks out on her husband and son. Then she tries to come back and regain custody. In the end, he loses the court case and the woman gets custody, even though she walked out of her child’s life.
A very compelling movie about being a father and fighting for his child.

And women wonder where the good men are….

I saw that movie right after my first divorce. Very depressing. He even loses his job because of the s~~~ she’s pulling and he gets another job making less money. She never pays him a dime in child support, but he ends up shelling out over $400 a month after he loses. A very depressing film indeed.

One thing has changed, men have become far more jaded towards women to the point women are having problems finding a man to use the system to screw over.
The whole women marrying themselves is born from fifty years of sexism towards men.
