I think that from the meat suit writing, I am beginning to better understand Colin’s obsession with the filth of humanity.

I think it is a pity because you can regard the body as a filthy meat suit but it is quite a dualist position. I am not sure that science is going to be kind to the theory of dualism.

I personally think the meat suit is our reality and we need to love it because it is who we are. Some attributes of it do not change our mental state but most do. If we increase our weight our hormones change, if we get scarred our self perception changes, if we get sick our mental and physical capacities are altered and if we become depressed our perception of reality can become horribly negatively distorted.

It comes back to know yourself and love yourself. Its not that bad Colin but, unless you can see it and feel it, it is no help me saying so. I hope you can come to look on yourself more kindly in time. Do you know what it is that started this self loathing and loathing for humanity?

Always been there, innate. It has worsened as I have got older. I have lost my hair, thus my identity. I have created a persona for myself(damage limitation)and the backlash from society has been immense.
However, even if I hadn’t lost said follicles and was clean-shaven, I still would be introverted(the Norse in me). I prefer kids and cats. Innocent creatures safe from the perils of this world.
Mine eyes have been opened to the reason(s) why we are a wretched specimens. Don’t know if it makes it harder to exist…………
