I spent decades trying to explain to (older) people why I will never get married, it usually comes down to COST -v- BENEFIT, there’s too little to gain, and way to much to lose.  My dad was persistent, and with his generation, if a guy wasn’t married by a certain age, there was something wrong with that man.  I tell him that nowadays, people don’t ask me what’s wrong with me, they usually say “That’s smart.  Very smart.”  I explained that my relationships last about 3-4 months (the good ones), and there’s no way I would bring a child into that situation.

On the internet, you could find a few sites that tell of marriage horror stories, or even more, divorce horror stories.  When you hear that even a pre-nup won’t save you necessarily, there is just no way in hell I would risk that which I worked so hard for.

My dad died recently, probably still disappointed in me for never getting married.  I found MGTOW searching for kindred spirits.  I’m glad this site exists, and glad to be a member.  Marriage is obsolete–basically a legal way for someone to steal everything you own, and will ever own.  I hope divorce law & family courts change, but I doubt I will live to see it.

    Welcome Vogelmann.

I agree with you completely on the subject of marriage. MGTOW is the only logical way for a man to live his life free from misery, slavery and debt.
