My fathers way of teaching used logic
    and humor.

If the subject of the Bible or Christianity
causes you to become rude and intolerant please
remember You did not have to click on this topic.
I am not forcing anything upon you and as I have said
before I love everyone and respect everyone.

that includes respecting your rights to your own beliefs.

I do not hate those with beliefs that differ from mine.

I even take the time to read post where others are
reasoning out why they believe the way they do.

Those who will not listen to a man’s reasons
for believing what he believes will enslave
themselves to their own beliefs. (CLOSED MINDED)
They remove their own authority to ever change their mind.

My father told me who God was when I was 5 years
    old.
could this be a true statement?
could my father really have that information?

don’t be to quick to answer.
I have good reason to believe he did not lie.

He said “son, the best way to understand this
world is to use the KISS method.”
    what is the kiss method?
    “Keep it simple son”
    “do not overthink things.”

He said “God is simply who protects and provides
for you and at this time of your life I am your
God. I will never lie to you nor will I guide you the wrong way for I love you too much. If I tell you a
flea can pull a gut wagon. You don’t question me
just find a harness and hook him up because he will
    damn sure pull it.”

He told me “Son, almost all people overthink the word
    worship.

Simply put worship is nothing more than
    saying thank you.

If I am providing you a soda pop
    what do you say?”

I replied “Thank you for the soda
    pop dad.”

He said “worshiping who provides and
protects you is nothing more than good manners.
    How simple is that son?”

    I said “very simple.”

He then said “I am playing the role of your god
and I am the slave to your needs. so god is a slave.
I am enslaved by the love I have for you.
It is love that causes me to live only to protect and provide for you. I have no other purpose on this earth.”

Is it possible that his spirit is alive
and still seeing to my needs?

Matters not what your answer is because
I believe it is true and have every right
    to that belief.

He did not have to go into the Bible
to make me understand who god is and why
    I should thank him.

Keeping it simple in today’s screwed
up society is as easy for me now as when
I was a child and he was really here
with me in his own living flesh.

I am still thanking him for making it easy
    for me to understand.

I owe him more than I could ever repay.

So I am giving him back the most
    precious gift of all
(LIFE ITSELF) it is the most precious
    thing we all have.

Our time of life should be spent doing
what makes us the most happy.

It makes me happy to share his teachings.

I pray those simple truths of my childhood
    help someone gain more understanding.

Don’t go look up the word “WORSHIP”
and copy and paste the definition
for the sole purpose of proving
my father wrong because if you do
all you are doing is being critical
and complicating for others, what my
father made so simple for me.

Believe what you like it is your
right and I respect that right.

I believe the spirit of my
    heavenly father will
    live in my heart forever.

    Enslaving my flesh to his
    spiritual guidance is
    within my right to
    pursue my happiness.

He was a slave to my needs
    as a child.

    His spirit is
    in need of living flesh.

    I cannot with clear conscience
say no to my fathers needs after
    all he did for me.

If any of you call this gibberish
and claim you cannot understand it
then don’t blame me for your obvious
    lack of intellect.

    I understood it
    at five years old.

None of you have to accept and believe
in God or Jesus, but you will never be able
    to take them from me.

Some say they do not believe
in God because they cannot see him.

They ask if he is a living
    god where is his flesh?

    I have answered that with
    my self evident and most
    simplified truth.

Thank you my heavenly father in the name
    of your most faithful son.
    A&men
    Jesus hosts the spirits of
    the ones we love forever.
    Immortality can only be
    a spiritual endeavor.

we only get one go around
    in our own flesh.
when it is gone it returns
    only to dust.

    Love and respect to all
and remember keep it simple stupid
oops I meant keep it simple son.

I was bound to be misunderstood, and I laugh at those who misunderstand me. Kind mockery at the well intentioned, but unfettered cruelty towards those would be prison guards of my creative possibilities. This so as to learn as much from misunderstanding as from understanding. Taking pleasure in worthy opponents and making language fluid and flowing like a river yet pointed and precise as a dagger. Contradicts the socialistic purpose of language and makes for a wonderful linguistic dance, A verbal martial art with constant parries that hone the weapon that is the two edged sword of my mouth.

Great post! Often the right answer is the most simple one. I just wish psychologists could understand that!

My father said Keep It Stupid Son, you’re not the brightest.

Been keeping it stupid ever since and things seem to work themselves out while I blissfully enjoy myself!

    KISS.

irony=a state of affairs or an event that seems deliberately contrary to what one expects and is often amusing as a result.

Surely this is what you would expect from
    a crazy. HA!HA!HA!

I am having toast and coffee this morning
to go with my irony. Cooked my irony in a skillet
    over easy.

hope the rest of your day is as lovely as
    your morning.

I have work to do so life is good in the kingdom for me
    this morning.
