I heard a few times today on local news that either a congressman or senator (I forgot which one) from Iowa is now trying to keep Harriet Tubman off the $20 bill which would replace Andrew Jackson. I hope he succeeds because I don’t like the idea of politically correcting the money, like everything else. Seriously, there are some things better off left alone, and US currency is one of them.

If they want to put Tubman or some famous black person on the currency or coins, that’s fine. I’d say Fredrick Douglas or George Washington Carver or Booker T. Washington would be better choices. But they should keep Jackson on some currency; as someone who hated banks he’s one of my favorite Presidents.

Look on the brightside. If they succeed, they will never live it down.

I find it funny that Andrew Jackson is on a Federal Reserve note considering he fought tooth and nail to destroy the central bank. Putting Harriet Tubman on the bill just puts the nail in the coffin of the fiat currency. Funny money all the way.
