    I just finish the last of my pea protein powder last month, because i am allergic to whey all kind, milk and egg.

    Still even at a good price of 60$ per jar i decided to quit supplements. I still use a multi vitamin when i actually don’t forget to take it iron pills due to being anemic at some point this is prevention and that is about it.

    Creatine glutamine bloat me up and i look fat water filled retention.

    This week i took a look at my diet and realize i am not eating enough protein, for convenience i buy lots of frozen veggies kale broccoli cauliflower, bok choi, carrots, salsa sauce etc and blend all this into a cream add some spice and its amazing, i also do the same with legumes so its filling and full of good fiber minerals vitamins etc.

    I never bring meat at work and i sort of ran out of meat last week…… i guess my total protein intake for a day must be less then 50g i am a big boy lol 230 pounds at 5 feet 11…..

    This morning i went to the super market and bough lots of red meat eggs, i will try to get my protein up to 100g a day that will be enough, i am allergic to lactose and gluten…… but still bough some bagels hell why not….. f~~~ strict diets. LOL

    I believe vegan is good but men need meat for testosterone production i have some coconut oil here that i cook with and had some avocado oil to my veggy cream for taste.

    Sardines? Great in crackers with lemon.

    Note…fish can stink the place up.

    Add veggies, dill lemon.

    Yes my legumes do not have soy beans in them, i do not consume soy at all, i hate fish i really hate it, for me its red meat.

    Ho and i don’t want to give up candy LOL i love my candy, i lost a lot of weight intermittent fasting helps with that too, i can still eat some sugar just need to eat a bit less and count calories.

    Hey y44. Enjoy reading your quotes but the above is incorrect. I’m veggie, eggs only no cheese or dairy for 3 years. It’s the s~~~ they put into those animals that will effect testosterone levels. Not the lack of animals in your diet. ??

    We are all different bro, i notice that while eating more vegan…. vegetables fruits etc i feel a lot better, but also cut out wheat and dairy… but if i stay away from meat too long i suffer i also need more protein i train 6 times per week with weights and i just added 2 HIIT training per week nothing much weight is like 30 40 minutes and HIIT is 10 minutes but intense.

    There is a difference. Veganism is a religion. Being a vegetarian is just a choice.
    Vegan’s are the ones who force their religion on their children an pets.

    I may eat a lot of vegetables and fruit for my diet but I have never met a steak or chicken I didn’t like.

    The first thing that you notice when you read vegan books is that, religion. There is an African at my job he is a great guy, but he is very religious, and every time i am down he wants me to go to is church.

    I research religion and science, and to be honest there is not a single proof that its real. For all we know Jesus could have been a great manipulator and charlatan, who was really good at speaking in front of crowds and so on. The bible is man made to manipulate and control men.

    In this day and age we need proof, not faith in something we cannot see feel or hear.

    I’m anti-religion. It’s just that humans are herbivores.

    Finally thanks man i will get the book for sure, yeah i don’t go crazy with protein either and i look pretty good too massive and muscular with less then 100g per day and some days 50g, protein is nothing more then hype and myth like anything else.

    Not all women are attracted to muscles, but i had my fair share that where, of course its attraction, after that you need to have a bit more then a physique, but that goes both ways. Muscles are a side effect i never trained for women i love to lift weights. But i guess there is something with broad shoulders a good chest small waste and strong lets that get to women ahhha.

    Problem with bodybuilders on any diet is that they use steroids, i used steroids in the past during my pro wrestling days, should not have, its crap and it screwed up my body.

    Finish reading the book and i am ready to try the vegan lifestyle, there is a co worker that was put on vegan by a medical doctor he cut out sugar, pepsi, meats but he still smokes the cigarette, still he lost 23 pounds in a month.

    I remember when younger following all the diet advise of the bodybuilding books scratching my money to buy protein and creatine and not looking at all like i wanted only one winter to fall sick with the flu and i was amazed during that time of taking no supplement or nothing not even my protein shake how much my body looked amazing, i was not eating that much at that was it.

    All the diet advise the protein 1g per pound of bodyweight and all the rest is just s~~~ to make money. Supplements are getting more and more expensive its silly, BCAA awful price.

    You can get a big can of 5 mixed beans no soy for 1$ at my grocery store, 1$ packed with sick nutrient, but they say that legumes are not good for you because they rob the body from nutrients hahahaha well yeah get the 12$ steak instead…… and the 4$ 2l Milk….. much better….

    Frozen veggies got for 2$ per big bag so all in all eating vegan saves you a $$$$$$ at the end of the month…

    The body needs carbs, i did low carbing a lot, at some point the end result where always the same ended up being weak small emaciated, foggy even after upping my sodium and fat intake…….. the body needs carbs for energy i do much better with carbs then wth fat as fuel

    Same here. I’ve wanted to be muscular since 1984, but nothing works. I agree with the post above – steroids is how they scam us with those muscular guys.

    But for me being vegan would be just too hc…
