A couple years back my wife took off with some other guy while I was away at work. A couple months later we decided to try again for my mine and my daughters sake. We moved 6000 kms away and we have been here for two years now. My daughter (10 year old) has been going to school and made a lot of friends here and was very happy. A week ago my wife quit her job and decided she was moving back to her home town to be close to her parents who she says she needs. So, today they got on a plane and left. I’m really upset that my daughter will be so far away and I really don’t know how I will ever get to see her at that distance and with the cost of airfare I really don’t know.

Anyway, that just scratched the surface of it all. I don’t know if I should pack up and quit my job here where I am happy and move back to the unknown to be close to my daughter or not?

šŸ™ I really don’t know man but I start a new job tomorrow which I have a feeling is going to be a s~~~ty day.

I do feel bad for you, but there’s not much you can do. I guess you can call or write to your daughter and save some money to visit her in a few years?

Best thing you can do is save money and when she gets old enough you can help her pay for school or get her a gift when she goes off to college.

If she ran off with a guy once, she would do it again, and she has probably gotten away with it on other occasions as well. Personally I would have cut her loose then. She has zero respect for you.Ā

My ex took off back to her parents with my daughter a few years ago, it hurts and f~~~ yea it sucks flying back and forth to see my kid, the s~~~ adds up but that’s the situation.
