For MGTOW to be featured in a countries national anthem…

 

A few years ago, Australia changed the national anthem. A hot contender was “Waltzing Matilda”, which lost out to “Advance Australia Fair”.

Because Australians put a fair bit of time and effort into sport, Advance Australia Fair tends to be on rapid rotation at the Olympic games.

“Waltzing Matilda” is more likely to be sung informally than “Advance Australia”.

The ditty is a about a MGTOW camping by a pond stealing a sheep for tea. When he is found out the cops are called and he drowns himself to avoid arrest.

So for the last century or so , the “Jolly swagman” is actually a MGTOW. He is an itinerant worker who carries his life’s belongings on his back. Minus the criminality and the suicidality it is acknowledgment of MGTOW as a “Jolly” alternative. In the remote Northern Territory, there are 111 men per 100 women so it is kinda necessary for MGTOW.

Theres a song I havent thought about since I finished Primary School.
I’ve got to agree on the whole, men without women tend to be happier and more at peace with themselves since theyre not catering to a child under the misnomer of partner.
There are exceptions of course, poor men caught in situations beyond their control simply waiting for their time to come. Theres also men who are simply too weak and insecure in themselves to be happy on their own; they define themselves by their partner and inevitably end up miserable since theres never enough to please them.
From my experience, women are too competitive with each other; constantly judging their friends lives and how their own live matches up and it never does.
